Can you think of anything worse/more wonderful than trying on clothes? Depending on the day of the week, time of day and which part of the month – trying on clothes can go one of two ways. It’s either the best day ever, when you come home with lots of amazing scores or it’s totally scarring, when nothing (especially jeans) fit the way you want. The only thing that has the potential to be worse? Shopping for bathing suits. I’m pretty sure I’m not alone when I say that I love to shop, but I also dread the dressing room – so, check out this roundup of 4 important mistakes women make when trying on clothes – and do your best to avoid them!
4 Mistakes Women Make When Trying on Clothes
- Focusing in on a single size. It’s super important to bring a variety of sizes into the dressing room – especially with jeans. Nothing fits exactly the same.
- Skipping out on anything with a dry-clean only tag. If you love it, who cares how it has to be cleaned? Beside often times, you can totally hand wash.
- Shopping late in the day. Try to hit the dressing room nice and early when you’re feeling good and you’ve only had a light breakfast. You’ll feel much better about yourself.
- Avoiding anything that needs tailoring. Don’t ever forget that a good tailoring can make something fit like a glove.
How about you? What makes trying on clothes a good experience?
Keep styling
