When it comes to interview outfits for women, I will always believe that being overdressed is better than underdressed, however sticking out from company culture could be a strike against you.
It should look like you put in the extra effort when it comes to your outfits for interviews but that you will still fit in with other employees and that you will properly dress to reflect your position. Want to score a job in the fashion and beauty industry? Make sure you know how to rock a current trend that is flattering. Want an executive position? A crisp, perfectly tailored suit, feminine blouse and simple hair shows your commitment.
