Gyrotonic - schon probiert?

Als wir das Wort zum ersten Mal hörten, dachten wir es ist ein neues Gyrosrezept......aber wir wurden eines besseren belehrt.

Nicht nur Hollywood Schönheiten wie Natalie Portman u.v.a. schwören auf das Gyrotonic-Training.

Der Neue Trend aus den USA (woher sonst) wird auch in Europa immer beliebter. Diese Sportart setzt sich aus Elementen wie Pilates, Ballett, Yoga, Tai-Chi und Schwimmen zusammen.

Die Neuartigkeit liegt darin, dass selbst bei minimaler Anstrengung gedehnt und gekräftigt wird und gleichzeitig Bewegungsumfang und Koordination erhöht werden und dies bei Schonung der Wirbelsäule.

Das Prinzip des harmonischen fließenden, des kreisförmigen, des dehnenden und sich annähernden, bewirkt eine sukzessive sich verbessernde Beweglichkeit und Geschmeidigkeit von Muskeln, Bändern und Gelenken.

Trend Guide : High Heels and Skinny Jeans

If leggings and boots are my cold-weather uniform during the day, high heels with skinny jeans are definitely perfect for a night out. This go-to look like wearing our models  can work for virtually any occasion, simply by switching up your top and adding different accessories. I styled this look a little more casually, adding in a trendy chambray top but luxe details like a Chanel bag and statement necklace. So chill and yet so chic. Love!

Let´s fake it!!

Unter dem Slogan "Lieber nackt als im Pelz" haben sich schon einige prominente Damen Ihrer Kleidung entledigt, um die Tierschutzorganisation PETA zu unterstützen...u.a. auch Naomi Campbell zog blank, aber änderte auch hin und wieder Ihre Meinung. Pamela Anderson hingegen blieb sich und dem Tierschutz immer treu und Siena Miller folgt Ihrem Beispiel...

Pelz, so betonen gerade Vertreter der Industrie immer wieder, ist das älteste Kleidungsstück des Menschen..... auch wenn wir jetzt endlos diskutieren würden, ob Pelz oder Kunstfell ( Fake) , wer sich für was entscheidet, muss jeder für sich selbst vertreten können! xo

SKINFIT FOR THIS WINTER

From a little added hydration to some tender loving care, check out these tips for getting your skin back on track, stat.

• Looking blotchy and red? It may be time to lay off the exfoliators and opt for a creamy, gentle cleanser. Add some cucumber or aloe infused cream to help quiet the redness.
• Chapped lips that just won’t quit? Above anything else – hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Once you’ve had all the H2O you can take, go for a flavorless lip balm (so you aren’t tempted to lick those lips!) with nourishing moisturizers. Skip the matte lipsticks and stains and opt for hydrating solutions.
• Not getting enough sleep? Well, first of all – catch those Z’s! If you’re trying to undo the damage of flaky, puffy under eyes, try creating a protective barrier for that sensitive skin with a light and fragrance-free moisturizer.

TREND GUIDE: GEL OR ACRYL NAILS

With all the options out there for gorgeous manicures, how do you decide between gel vs. acrylic nails? If you’re considering false nails, the first thing your manicurist will probably ask is gel or acrylic? 

Acrylic nails have been around for a long time and are a staple in the beauty industry. Here are the facts when it comes to acrylics:

• They can be repaired at home, but the application process requires strong chemicals.
• When you visit your salon, acrylics can be easily removed.
• They’re strong and last a long time, but they can have damaging effects on your nail bed.
• Acrylics are affordable, but may not look as natural as gels.

Gel nails are a little newer to the scene, but can provide a natural look you may not get with acrylics. Here are some of the facts if you decide to go gel.

• They have a natural, glossy look, but may not be quite as durable as acrylic options.
• Gels are tough to do at home because they require a UV light.
• Gel nails don’t require strong fumes like acrylics – they’re safer and eco-friendly.
• Gel nails have to be filed off, so you may need an appointment to get them removed.
