The world's top models had better watch their backs because there's some new competition on the block and they've got slim, athletic physiques, glossy hair, big, bright eyes - oh, and four legs.

The series of images were shot by William Wegman, an artist best known for his anthropomorphised images of Weimaraners. You may even recall his work for Acne a few seasons ago, which featured his own pet Weimaraners wearing the brands apparel and accessories as part of a guerrilla advertising campaign.

The Trussardi images pay more than a little homage to Menswear Dog , the handsome Brooklyn-based Shiba Inu named Bodhi who, courtesy of his creative owners, models the latest menswear looks on his blog.
