“When I introduced it in 2016, it didn’t take off. I think people didn’t believe that they could pull it off,” shares the designer. “It’s something people need to be trained to think they can pull off.” Priced at $128, it quickly rose from obscurity and became carried by everyone from fashion insiders to social media influencers who freely use the word “wanderlust.”
