A SHEER THING
Don't call her an exhibitionist, she's merely
game to bring the boudoir out of the bedroom. You've got to give credit to the
ladies who dare to have their lingerie play the role of fashion accessory,
pairing a haute bra with a sheer top. Olympia
Scarry was streamlined in black Calvin Klein, SJP played the coquette in Louis
Vuitton and Chloë Sevigny took on the whole scene downtown in a look by Proenza
Schouler. Take note from Nina Ricci's and Dior`s Spring 2012 runway and realize the appeal
of the art of a little reveal.

FASHION AGAINST AIDS
Am 26. April kommt die neue Fashion against Aids Kollektion von H&M in die Läden. Bereits zum fünften Mal engagiert sich die schwedische Kette mit dieser Linie, die in 300 Divided-Abteilungen und online zu haben sein wird. In den vergangenen Jahren konnten so schon ca. 5,1 Millionen € gesammelt werden. Auch diesmal gehen 25 % des Erlöses an internationale HIV-/AIDS-Präventionsprojekte.
Verschiedene Künstler haben für Fashion against Aids farbenfrohe Muster und Prints entworfen. Wie immer passt die Kollektion bestens in die Festivalsaison.
I love this year’s Fashion Against AIDS collection. It brings together so many global styles that send not only a powerful fashion message, but also help spread the word about HIV/AIDS awareness.

NOBLE METALS
Shoes with metal back in fashion again this spring. The metallic shoes were the undisputed protagonists of the nineties, so that if he could not anymore. We love: Chanel's „The Little Black Jacket“
Wenn Stilikonen, Modemacher und Models sich zur Fashion-Force vereinen, muss schon etwas ganz Großes dahinterstecken – oder etwas kleines Schwarzes: Für „The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited“ haben Karl Lagerfeld und Konsorten die Chanel Jacke neu inszeniert ...
Für den Fotoband „The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited“ haben Karl Lagerfeld und Carine Roitfeld Stars wie Anna Wintour, Jane Birkin, Sofia Coppola, Kirsten Dunst, Yoko Ono, Elizabeth Olsen, Lauren Hutton und Uma Thurman in Chanel-Tweedjacken abgelichtet.
Doch die Fotos sind nicht nur im Buch zu sehen: In einer realen Ausstellung in Tokyo und in einer digitalen Ausstellung im Internet ist die Wiederauferstehung des Klassikers zu sehen.
Wobei, Wiederauferstehung ist wohl das falsche Wort, denn wirklich tot war dieser Designklassiker nie.
