Dresses we like at the SAG Awards

The Screen Actors Guild Awards aired this weekend and we got a last glance at all the gowns and glamour before the Oscars. The stars showed up dressed to the nines in designer duds, leaving me ready and excited for all the looks we’ll be seeing at the Oscars. Needless to say, there were definitely some gowns and dresses that stood out to me. Check them out below, and be sure to leave me a message in the comments section. Which looks from the SAG red carpet stood out to you? Let me know!

Naomi Watts – Naomi Watts wore a simple, yet form fitted Burberry gown that featured some cap sleeves. This dress stood out to me for its simplicity. It’s a gorgeous gown and, on Watts, it’s absolutely stunning.

Rachel McAdams- Rachel McAdams is definitely making every best-dressed list with this Elie Saab number. It’s a breath-taking gown. I love the black on nude detailing. Gergeous.

Kristen Wiig- Kristen Wiig wore this Roland Mouret jumpsuit to the SAG Awards and I have to give her props for trying something that’s definitely outside the box for awards season. We’re used to seeing dress after dress, but it’s refreshing to see Wiig change things up.

Eva Longoria -Eva Longoria wore this drop waist green Julien Mcdonald gown. It’s a risk that paid off. Eva isn’t afraid to show off her gorgeous body and this mesh dress proves it.

Copy the Look: Sandra Bullock

Last month People named Sandra Bullock the World’s Most Beautiful Woman for there ‘World’s Most Beautiful’ issue. Bullock, having just hit the 50-year mark, is taking control of what it means to be beautiful and putting Hollywood’s obsession with ageism to rest. Aside from stunning people with her looks and personality, the superstar has been churning out fabulous red carpet looks since her early days as a Hollywood bigwig. To celebrate this beauties glamorous ageless beauty, let’s discuss her style and what makes it so polished and flawless. Check out all her best looks below.

Old Hollywood- By 2015, Sandra is no rookie when it comes to the red carpet, and her ode to old Hollywood inspired looks proves that. At the 2010 SAG awards she sported a 1940s inspired Alexander McQueen gown with slicked back hair and a nude pout. In 2014, she did it again in another McQueen number except with vintage waves at the Oscars.

Not Afraid Of Color- By wearing that color blocked Golden Globes gown by Prabal Gurung, Bullock proved that she isn’t afraid to make a statement with color. Throughout her lengthy career, the film actress has proved that by incorporating bright colors into her wardrobe she cannot fail, no matter what it is she’s wearing.

Comfort Is Key- When the actress is photographed out on the town, it’s obvious that she goes for comfortable button downs and jeans. Comfort is key for this Oscar winning actress as she runs around after her son Louis. You’ll often find images of her in boots and loose sweaters when she’s off that red carpet, and who can blame her? Not only is she a single mother, but an accomplished actress and well-loved public figure.
