MTV VMAs 2016: Best Moments

From Beyoncé’s surprise stage re-creation of “Lemonade” to Britney Spears’ big comeback, here are some of the best moments from Sunday’s show.

Beyonce walked the white carpet with the squat featured in the “Lemonade” visual album – mothers of gun violence victims among them.

During the show Serena Williams introduced Beyoncé for an unexpected performance of several of her “Lemonade” hits. The album scored Beyoncé eight Moon Man trophies – including Video of the Year for “Formation.”

At the end of the show, Drake surprised viewers by presenting her with the Video Vanguard Award. He has reportedly dated Rihanna on-and-off for years, said he admired her before adding, “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22-years-old.”

Best Matte Nails To Rock This Fall

Matte nails are Fall’s biggest nail trend for a few years now. It started off with the matte black and has quickly spread to all designs and colors – red, grey, white, blue, etc. When we think of a nice manicure, our mind immediately jumps to shiny, well-maintained nails. But sometimes we need something different – something edgier. Matte nails will give you that statement grunge look.

The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Getting Styled up

Are you the girl who prides herself on getting dressed in 5-10 minutes flat? If spending undue time getting ready isn’t your thing, you may shrug away from fancy events, which take a little extra time to pull off in the style department. They don’t have to! Don’t commit to spending excess time pondering your wardrobe for the next show-stopping event. Alternate 2 or 3 of these choice pieces to look totally put together in minutes.

Red may be the go-to color for some, but the sky’s the limit when it comes to lip colors. Use what works for you, whether it be fuchsia, coral, or Bordeaux. All of these shades can scream, “Totally put in effort”!

Make a statement with a Necklace

The right clutch can transform a look into going-to-prom appropriate to walking-the-runway style. Sure, you can always opt for a simple rolled clutch in satin. But, where’s the fun in that? Instead, buy one or two clutches that really connect with who you are whether that’s funky, retro, or classic feminine.

Pulling your hair together can really make the difference in wearing a nice outfit versus actually looking “dressed up”. A sleep pony, a chignon, or bountiful waves can all add oomph to your look in just a few minutes.
