Women - I make it my way

I believe that we all came on this Earth to fulfill a purpose. We all have that flame or that obsession, dream or goal in us that just won’t go out. That’s why I find it so refreshing when women fulfill that purpose while doing it on their own terms. Their success is attributed to their hard work and talent, but they also tend to shine a little light on their amazing personalities as well. Here are some amazing women who are out there finding success on their own terms. Who are your personal female heroines? Are any on this list? Let me know in the comments!

Leandra Medine- Leandra Medine liked style. She liked style, but for her. She was sick of reading content on the Internet about “butt boosting” or “clothes to get a man’s attention.” She liked her style simply because she liked it and she wasn’t about to sacrifice that fact for any man. She created her blog, The Man Repeller, to showcase that style that wasn’t exactly meant to boost anything. Her blog is a success and she is now a major face in the fashion industry.

Sheryl Sandberg
- Sheryl Sandberg is Facebook’s COO. She wrote Lean In because she was sick of hearing that she couldn’t be a high-level business executive while also advocating for women. She decided to try both and now Lean In is a major bestseller and those naysayers are biting their tongues.

Angelina Jolie - Angelina Jolie is more than just an actress; she’s a world-renowned public figure. In order to use her big name to use, Jolie has become an advocate for women while also discussing her own life as a woman. She is also a humanitarian, constantly speaking out and fighting for those who cannot. She’s always done it on her terms, whether or not Hollywood was ever willing to listen.

CULOTTES ATTACK
