Spring Trends to Love

Spring is just around the corner bringing us warmer temperatures, and of course, spring fashion trends. This is why I wanted to bring you my spring trends recap. What will spring 2016 bring in terms of style? Read on to find out.  I’ve got all the runway trends along with pieces that you can try at home! Check them out and be sure to let me know what you think in the comments section! Are you ready for spring trends?

Cold Shoulder- Cold shoulder cut outs were on almost every runway during Spring 2016 fashion week, which is why I think they’ll definitely make their way into your closet this season.

To rock a cold shoulder cut out, check out this ASOS Border Lace Cold Shoulder Dress. It’s got a boho vibe with just the right cold shoulder detail. I am loving this new trend. It’s flattering yet creates some unique shapes and silhouettes which is exactly what I love in a fashion trend.

Spring Stripes- Designers like Stella McCartney, Dior and Tommy Hilfiger incorporated stripes of all sorts into their collections. Wide, thin, horizontal, vertical, so expect to see plenty of stripes in stores this spring.

Street Wear– Collections were chalk full of bomber jackets, sweat pants and sneakers. Just check out this look from Rag and Bone’s collection below.

Canadian Tuxedo- Expect to see denim-on-denim looks this spring. Remember, to rock a denim look, you’ve got to focus on pairing different shades.

Copy the Look: Kate Moss

Kate Moss has become a force to reckon with in the world of modeling. Because of her waifish figure, she has become the muse of many high-fashion houses, from Gucci and Chanel to Dolce and Gabbana.
Despite her notorious party girl lifestyle, Kate remains to be one of the most stylish models in the world. Get this muse’s look with her signature pieces and outfits.
Turtleneck

While others have veered away from turtlenecks, Kate Moss wore them with open arms. Whether chunky or fine-knit, she did not have any problems rocking them. Look as timeless as Kate by pairing this warming top with rugged skinny jeans.

Bomber jackets

For the longest time, Kate Moss has been the epitome of ‘grunge.’ This perhaps, paved the way for her penchant for bomber jackets. She is often seen in this outerwear, sometimes in a shocking neon pink color. Because of its edgy design, you can easily copy Kate’s look. That’s because a bomber jacket can be worn with basically anything!

Skinny Jeans

The skinny jeans look is perhaps the easiest thing to borrow from Kate’s closet. However, if you like to channel her look, you have to keep her ‘grunge’ mantra in mind. Of course, the best way to do so is to wear your skinny jeans with any of Kate’s aforementioned signature pieces.
