Pants for Your Everyday Wardrobe

Cropped wide leg pants have been everywhere this spring and summer. I’ve seen them all over style blogs and in magazines. They’re the newest “it” trend that’ll help make your outfit all the more fashion forward.

Check out these different styles below:

These pants are so chic and can be worn with almost anything. My favorite pairing? Some strappy heels. Or you could go for some oxford shoes like Gigi Hadid below. I love the way she added a simple black belt to her wide leg pants. It definitely makes for a unique style!

Swimsuits: Find Your Perfect Look

Suns out, thighs out! Yup, it’s time to rock those swimsuits, ladies. It’s beach season and you deserve to relax and enjoy the sun while looking your best. If you’re in the market for a new suit, I’ve got some pieces that are perfect for your figure and your budget. Check them out below and read my tips to help you find the right bathing suit for you! Do you have a vacation planned this season? Let me know where you’re off to in the comments section!

Pear Shape- If you’re small up top, but have some great hips like Beyoncé and want to give your bust a little love, aim for a full piece with a deep v. This will give your body a curvier shape and an elongated frame. I’m loving this piece by Ted Baker London. It’s got that deep v, plus a bright red color to make you stand out ar the beach
Rope Strap Swimsuit

Large Bust- If you’ve got a larger bust, you’re going to want something with support to keep those girls up! Bra-style sized bikini tops are key. Add some underwire and you’re all set. Loving the bikini top from Asos below. It’s got everything you need to keep those girls in place.

Smaller Bust- If you’ve got a smaller chest, fear not because you have a chance to play with some ruffles and patterns in order to give the illusion of a larger chest. You can also go for something with some padding. Triangle tops give you the illusion of curves so feel free to go for that classic bikini. Check out the bikini top below. It’s perfect for you you! Betsey Johnson

Straight Athletic- If you’re shaped like a ruler, then it’s all about giving you the illusion of some curves. My top tip is to get a full piece that’s got some cut outs in all the right places. The Michael Kors bathing suit below has got some side cut outs to give you what you need. Slip into this suit and you’ll be ruling the waves with some curvaceous appeal. Michael Kors

Full Figured, Curvy- For women with body shapes like my gorgeous friend, Kim K West, you want to accentuate your shape without going overboard. You still want something that covers you up and gives you some support without exaggerating your curves. Retro bikinis are great for your shape because they’re all about the waist. Asymmetrical tops also do the trick for you because they draw the eye up towards your neckline. I’m currently coveting the One Shoulder Bikini Top by ASOS below. Curvy girls, would you go for this bikini? Let me know

Spring Trends to Love

Spring is just around the corner bringing us warmer temperatures, and of course, spring fashion trends. This is why I wanted to bring you my spring trends recap. What will spring 2016 bring in terms of style? Read on to find out.  I’ve got all the runway trends along with pieces that you can try at home! Check them out and be sure to let me know what you think in the comments section! Are you ready for spring trends?

Cold Shoulder- Cold shoulder cut outs were on almost every runway during Spring 2016 fashion week, which is why I think they’ll definitely make their way into your closet this season.

To rock a cold shoulder cut out, check out this ASOS Border Lace Cold Shoulder Dress. It’s got a boho vibe with just the right cold shoulder detail. I am loving this new trend. It’s flattering yet creates some unique shapes and silhouettes which is exactly what I love in a fashion trend.

Spring Stripes- Designers like Stella McCartney, Dior and Tommy Hilfiger incorporated stripes of all sorts into their collections. Wide, thin, horizontal, vertical, so expect to see plenty of stripes in stores this spring.

Street Wear– Collections were chalk full of bomber jackets, sweat pants and sneakers. Just check out this look from Rag and Bone’s collection below.

Canadian Tuxedo- Expect to see denim-on-denim looks this spring. Remember, to rock a denim look, you’ve got to focus on pairing different shades.

Online Shopping On A Budget

It’s easy to get caught up while Internet shopping. You see a pair of shoes you like, add it to your shopping cart, and then checkout in a blink of an eye. You don’t feel any buyer’s remorse until you look at your bank statement. Yikes! Sometimes, shopping online is all too easy, which is why you need to find some affordable websites that your closet AND your wallet can appreciate. Below is a list of some of my personal favorites where you will find lots of looks for less! Have you used these websites? What do you think?

www.Asos.com  ASOS - This UK based website has all the top styles at super affordable prices. I love Asos for finding dresses and skirts that are good quality, yet super trendy and chic.

Forever21  isn’t known for it’s quality, but you can find inexpensive styles here that are fun and easy to wear. I love their basics section. You can find simple crop tops, tank tops and skater skirts at decent prices.

www.UrbanOutfitters.com Urban Outfitters  Sometimes Urban Outfitters has some astronomical prices ($70 for a crop top? No thank you!), yet their sale section is stellar. You can find great accessories for decent prices on the website as well. Plus, there are plenty of items online that you can’t get in the store!

www.Shop.com  Shop.com I can attest that Shop has some of the best prices out there. You can find literally anything you need on the site. Head on over to the website and check out for yourself. You won’t be sorry!

www.NastyGal.com Nasty Gal is another e-commerce site known for it’s amazing sale section! I love combing through and finding unique yet trendy looks that I can’t find elsewhere. They really focus on a brand style and it works for them (and for my budget!).

STYLISH MAMMIS

Shopping for maternity clothes doesn’t have to mean looking through racks of your usual suspects: elastic waisted faux jeans, maxi dresses and pajama pants. You’re a stylish woman and you’re allowed to keep that up, no matter how many changes your body may be going through! While your little bun is baking in the oven, treat yourself to some beautiful clothes that yes, say maternity, but have the brands you’re used to seeing and tons of style to boast!
Instead of just hitting up Target for your household essentials as well as your full wardrobe, take a look at this list to find some new favorites for your growing maternity attire that are chic, stylish and well made.
 ASOS: Affordable + Trendy
If you’re a fashion-forward pregnant woman, then you’ll want to take a glance at the offerings available at ASOS. Luckily they have price points that work with a growing family. Even if you’re saving for a crib and redecorating your office as a nursery; you’ll still have room in the budget to grab a couple trendy pieces for your maternity wardrobe here. Alongside traditional maxi dresses and loose tops you’ll find pieces like ikat bathing suits and hologram tees, just like the rest of the shop.

Shopbop: Not-So-Maternity
While they don’t specialize in maternity clothes, Shopbop.com has conviently gathered all their loose fitting tops and dresses, creating a section for expecting moms. If you’re the kind of girl who loves her Alexander Wang and simply has to wear it throughout her pregnancy, then this is the shopping destination for you! xo

Full skirts

....they are big and actually.....

I've always admired big skirts but never had a yen to wear one - until now.

I'd like to cite this as a strike-out moment of originality, but the mundane truth is they seem to have become fashionable. Also I've worked out how to wear them without looking as though I'm going to a themed Grease party. It's simple really.

ASOS

BODEN

DOLCE & GABBANA

Wear them with a pair of pointed, patent stilettos, the sharper the better:-)
