NYFW Spring 2015 SNAPS

Have you been following along on the Spring 2015 looks at New York Fashion Week? It’s been such a varied display of bright colors and clean lines. Pops of red, orange, and yellow have all found their place on the runway, alongside classic spring staples of black and white stripes. It looks like designers were not shying away from vibrant hues for the upcoming season. There were also a few classic shades of pastels in tonal effects with sophisticated grays and creams to offset them. All in all, the looks have been very inspiring. If you’re ready to get ahead of the curve, take a look at some of the best runway looks in each trend.

(Left to right): Black was a spring staple at Noon by Noor, Alexander Wang, and Peter Som

Left to right): Yellow paired well with black and white stripes at Nanette Lepore (first and last)
and Cushnie Et Ochs

(Left to right): Badgley Mischka (first and last) and Dennis Basso worked with tonal
neutrals for a sophisticated effect

Left to right): Reem Acra showed soft, delicate, and sophisticated pastels

Which one’s your favorite? xo

Trends NYFW 2013

Fall's florals are inherently more subdued. In a move that's romantic with a hint of drama, Tory Burch, Nonoo and Vera Wang embraced the flower, but in a moody turn, skewed the idea black and white — to interesting, almost gothic results.

The delicate pearl and diamond jewels accenting the look at the Row were a welcome surprise. The swallow pins and a diamond closer at the top of the blouse from Sidney Garber (designed by Brooke Garber Neidich) were the perfect adornment to the Olsens' elegant presentation.

The mule has been on its way back, but we're officially celebrating its return with this graphic version from 3.1 Phillip Lim.
