Fashion Awards 2016 – Best Dressed

The Fashion Awards 2016 in partnership with Swarovski is being held at the iconic Royal Albert Hall tonight to celebrate the best of British and international talent from the global fashion community, where fashion designers, brands and models are going up against their biggest competition . This year’s Fashion Awards will raise funds for the British Fashion Council’s Education Foundation charity for education scholarships to help the best talent attend leading fashion colleges.

The red carpet was alight dazzling with high-end couture for the British Fashion Awards 2016 at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The biggest names in the business attended to round off the year in fabulous style with the 4,000 guests including the likes of Naomi Campbell and Gigi Hadid.

Best Dressed at amfAR’s Paris Couture Party

Celebrities and fashion lovers alike made their way to amfAR’s Paris Couture soiree hosted by Donatella Versace. Naomi Campbell, Tory Burch Jennifer Garner all made an appearance at the party in support of amfAR and Versace. You know that when there’s a fashion party, there are going to be some fashionable looks worthy of mention. Below are some of my top picks for best dressed at the party. Jennifer Garner was spotted in a sleek black Atelier Versace dress alongside Donatella herself. I love both these looks. They’re very sleek. They fit right in at this event.

Naomi Campbell rocked a black, sheer deconstructed dress. She paired the look with some classic black pumps and her supermodel smile. Gorgeous as always.

Olivia Palmero posed alongside her husband in a red chiffon Versace number. I love the leg slits in this dress. It’s a fashion forward yet sexy look. It’s definitely notable.

Shanina Shaik wore a lilac gown to the event. It’s a classy dress that fits Shaik’s model-esque style. Check out that train!

Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Party 2015

Following in the footsteps of amfAR, which has successfully raised research funds to fight HIV and AIDS during the Cannes Film Festival, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, or LDF, is building its own tradition, staging its second annual auction gala in Saint-Tropez yesterday .

The foundation, which the star set up in 1998, is engaged in more than 70 projects across the globe, including the Elephant Crisis Fund and The Solutions Project to accelerate the transition to renewable energies.

Grammy Award winner John Legend is set to hop on stage for entertainment, in addition to special appearances by the likes of Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson and Elton John, who are chairing this year’s event, cosponsored by Chopard, Giorgio Armani and Swiss banking group Julius Baer.

90s Supermodel Reunion

Naomi Campbell also discussed the close bond between her fellow '90s supermodels, sharing that Kate Moss,  Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Stephanie Seymour, and Claudia Schiffer have been some of her closest friends throughout her career. "You'll never get a group of us together like that again. You'll get one here, one there, one there—but as a whole you'll never get it again." Campbell did reveal that they'll be reuniting for a special project in a few weeks but refused to discuss details.

Unter dem Slogan "Lieber nackt als im Pelz" haben sich schon einige prominente Damen Ihrer Kleidung entledigt, um die Tierschutzorganisation PETA zu unterstützen...u.a. auch Naomi Campbell zog blank, aber änderte auch hin und wieder Ihre Meinung. Pamela Anderson hingegen blieb sich und dem Tierschutz immer treu und Siena Miller folgt Ihrem Beispiel...

Pelz, so betonen gerade Vertreter der Industrie immer wieder, ist das älteste Kleidungsstück des Menschen..... auch wenn wir jetzt endlos diskutieren würden, ob Pelz oder Kunstfell ( Fake) , wer sich für was entscheidet, muss jeder für sich selbst vertreten können! xo
