Everyone’s Favorite Balmain Mini Dress

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Balmain! Specifically, the now infamous Balmain mini dress.  It’s short, chic and flattering to every body at every age. The mini dress is almost every celebrity’s go-to look for the red carpet, and with good reason. It’s almost no surprise that one dress in particular dress gets worn more than once. Take, for example, the time Kris Jenner and Demi Lovato wore the same dress on different red carpets. Needless to say, they both look gorgeous in their own way. Check them out below!

Beyoncé Lemonade Formation World Tour, DSWardrobe

Besides her slaying on vocals and choreography, Beyoncé’s “Formation World Tour” has kept us looking with the immaculate fashion.

 From the DSquared2’s Victorian-inspired bodysuit she wore for the opening song (“Formation”) and the ruffled Balmain bodysuits to the custom military-inspired sequin look by Roberto Cavalli, Beyoncé has also used her stage as a fashion runway.

For the final stop of the 49-stop “Formation World Tour” she rocked new bodysuits from her favorite fashion collaborators, including her own Ivy Park line. The yellow color palette had us remembering Lemonade, the unforgettable film that inspired the Formation tour.

Would You Rock This Kylie Jenner Look?

Kylie Jenner wore a very fashion forward look the other night. The young reality star and mogul is known for her unique fashion choices. Even from a young age she’s never been afraid to push the envelope. She’s worn everything from green wigs to lace jumpsuits.

This week the 18-year-old took her style to new extreme by rocking a blue see-through skirt over a nude jumpsuit. It’s all about showing off every curve in this piece by Balmain. She paired the look with some nude scrappy sandals and a blue Hermes bag. This look is all about that cobalt blue shade while showing off Kylie’s natural beauty.

She wore the look to a dinner date with boyfriend Tyga, as seen on her Snapchat account, making this outfit a date night look for the books. A Balmain Children’s Line is Launching Soon

Balmain creative director and French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing has done so much for Balmain to make the elite fashion house accessible to as many people as possible. The line was at H&M stores back in November (albeit for what felt like only a few short minutes) and is now expanding its reach to kids.

Yep! One of my absolute favorites just announced they will be launching a Balmain children’s line in June, with 55 pieces made in-house for boys and girls ages 6 to 14, comprised of mini versions of designs that have been created in previous years’ collections for its loyal adult clientele. However, this should really come as no surprise – Rousteing is Kim Kardashian’s bestie and often sends North one-of-a-kind handmade pieces, making her the chic-est tot on the block. Soon, parents who want to don their mini fashionistas in couture will be able to do the same.

 

 

The #BalmainKids collection will be sold in Balmain boutiques and online at Balmain.com. Prices will range from approximately $205 to over $5,000. And if the H&M collaboration is any indication, these styles won’t last long so be sure to follow Balmain  for updates.

“I think I first thought about designing kidswear when I dressed North,” Rousteing tells Vogue.

 “I had a conversation with Kim, and that was the beginning of how I really understood that the Balmain universe can also belong to kids.”

Pre-Fall 2015 Trends to Try Now

Pre-fall 2015 is a strange fashion schedule that traverses November through May. Sometimes it lingers until pre-fall, which gives credence to its’ name. Although the timing of this season is confusing, its styles are something you should try now! If you’re ready to be at the forefront of fashion, get your hands on these pre-fall 2015 trends.

1. Layers – Pre-fall 2015 trends are all about staying stylish and cozy. Of course, a great way to do so is to wear layers. Put your clothes on top of one another for a comfy yet textured look.

2. The Ornamental Belt – A belt has many uses, but for pre-fall 2015 trends, it is used more as an ornament. Follow the fashions of Prada and Balmain by using a belt as decoration rather than purposive reasons.

3. The Long Skinny Scarf – Updating the classics is one of the hallmarks of pre-fall 2015 trends. Such is the case of Givenchy, which has updated the long skinny scarf by styling it as a necktie.

Au revoir Paris!

Paris - Die letzte Station der internationalen Modewoche nach New York und Mailand - spielte als als Trend-Indikator für die kommende Saison eine entschiedene Rolle. Hier werden "Trends erledigt und manifestiert" oder komplett von einer anderen Seite beleuchtet!

Resümee zu Paris: "Mode ist erwachsen geworden" - man befindet sich derzeit im Umbruch -  früher stand der Designer zu sehr im Vordergrund, nun ist es wieder die Frau.
