I love the
movies, don’t you? When you’ve got that warm popcorn in hand, the lights dim,
and the movie begins, you can’t help but feel a tinge of nostalgia. What’s even
better is when you’re watching a film and you catch that moment that you know
will go down in film history. Maybe it’s just a dramatic performance or maybe
it’s a dress that you cannot keep your eyes off of. You guessed it, those are
my favorite types of movie moments. When a outfit or a dress comes out on
screen that takes my breath away, I know it’s an iconic moment in itself. Check
out some of my favorite fashion moments in iconic movies along with how to
incorporate their essence into your own style. Let me know what you think in
the comments below.
Breakfast At
Tiffany’s- That
black Givenchy dress is such a classic that it can still be worn similarly
today. To wear a similar look that Audrey would be proud of, go for a little
black dress and some pearls. To really go all out, pick up a tiara. It’s your
own slice of Breakfast at Tiffany’s so do it the way that feels the most “you,”
that it can.
How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days - We all
remember the yellow dress that Andie wore as she half-screamed Your So Vein to
Matthew McConauhey’s character during an impromptu karaoke session. To emulate
this dress, try out the canary yellow color, but also be sure to pay attention
to the back. Something low cut would work perfectly and look stunning.
Atonement - That silky green
dress fit Keira Knightly like a glove as she gave a beautiful performance in
this historical romance drama. It was widely talked about and became a symbol
for a film at the time. To rock a similar look, try a flowy gauzy forest green
skirt or a green maxi dress. It’ll turn heads, just like Keira’s green dress.
Keep styling
