Graduation
season is upon us, which means a whole new set of educated women is making
their way into the workforce and I cannot help but be proud. You did it, but
now it’s time to upgrade your styling game. Sure, those leggings and sorority
sweatshirts were great for class, but class is no longer in session. It’s time
to retire them for Netflix binge sessions. So what’s next, aside from taking on
the world? Going form your college wardrobe to your grown up wardrobe, because
we all know it’s time.
Invest
In A Silk Top- Silk tops not only say classy and
educated, but grown up as well. A silk top doesn’t have to be a frumpy
statement to the world; you can pair it with a sassy pencil skirt and pumps.
You can make it all your own with accessories. Perfect for that dream job, I
know you’re bound to get.
Keep Your Silhouette
In Mind- That giant flowy top you wore over your leggings may have been trendy
in college, but didn’t exactly keep your figure in mind. Now it’s time to focus
on your shape and acknowledge exactly what shape you are. If you’re curvier or
squarer, it’s time to dress for that shape and figure out what silhouettes look
best for you.
Consider Visiting A Tailor -
If you have pieces in your wardrobe that you just cannot live without, then consider
making them just the right fit by visiting a tailor. You’ll be surprised in the
change you’ll see in those pieces and how they’ll be able fit differently to
your body.
Make
It You- Sure, change is the only constant, but abandoning your own
personal style would be an absolute travesty. You can update your style by
still wearing your signature color, or colors. They make neon blazers, so have
at it. However you choose to update your look, please keep your own personality
in mind.
Keep styling
