Springtrend: Leather Edition

Leather outfits and accessories are must-haves for every girl. However, most ladies only opt for the ‘traditional’ colors of black and brown. If you love leather – and if you want to stand out – then make sure to get these colorful leather pieces for your wardrobe.

FUNKY LEATHER JACKET

When the word ‘leather’ comes to mind, the first thing that pops out is the classic black leather jacket. But if you want to inject a dash of color into your outfit, swap your black/brown leather jackets for a more vibrant one. Take cue from the stylistic Jamie Chung, who used a textured green leather jacket with her pretty outfit.

SEXY LEATHER PANTS

Leather pants are undoubtedly sultry. However, the usual black leather pants can be too ‘safe’ for words. If you want to go out of the box, then sashay around town in colorful leather pants. Like the lady below, a hot pair of leather pants (in ravishing red, of course) can make you look sexy – even with a conservative outfit.

Vibrant Leather Dress 

A black leather dress, while sexy, can be too ‘dominatrix.’ If you want to soften up your image – and look bubbly as well – then go for a vibrant leather dress. Kerry Washington (aka Olivia Pope) sashayed the red carpets in a red, hot leather dress, so why shouldn’t you? xo

Leather In Early Fall ?

Leather while it’s still warm outside? Yes please! Though you normally see leather outfits during the colder seasons like end of fall and winter, this edgy material works well during warm months, too. I know a lot of you out there are raising your eyebrows as you read this, but hear me out.

You can wear leather in early fall but you don’t have to wear it full on – actually you should never wear it ‘full on’. If you’re wondering how you can make this possible and if you’re looking for a way to add an edge to your warm weather looks, check out these cool ways to wear leather:

1. Leather pants – another really cool way to wear leather this summer is to sport a pair of leather pants. Pair your leather pants with a sexy chic top for an outfit that you can wear when you go clubbing with your friends. Don’t forget to finish it off with a sleek pair of heels as well.

2. Leather vest – now, if you’re looking for a way to wear leather in the daytime this summer, how about wearing a nice leather vest to add a dash of cool to your chic summer outfit? You can wear it over a cute dress to get a look that’s perfectly mixed between girly and edgy or you can wear it on top of a tank top or a shirt to spruce up a simple outfit and give it more edge.

3.Leather bag – one of the easiest ways to wear leather is not to wear it per se but to carry it in the form of a leather purse. Leather purses are great for everyday use because they’re strong and they can withstand everyday wear and tear well. If you’re planning on getting a leather purse to use every day, invest in a good quality one. Cheap leather isn’t just worth the money at all.
