LEOPARD PRINT LEGGINGS - how to wear ?

Leopard print leggings are not for the fashion faint of heart but if you’re set on trying these trendy bottoms, here are a few of my tips. When trying to style different ways to wear leopard print leggings, think basics, basics and more basics according to the season. Here’s my go-to look right now for fall with a fabulous pair I picked up .

• Oversized tops. Balance out the skin-tight leggings with an oversized sweater or tank top and boyfriend cardigan in neutral shades.
• Plain shoes. You don’t want too much happening all at once so stick with one color footwear like brown loafers and a black riding boot or pump.
• Pop of color. Throw in an accessory in a complimentary shade of red, green, blue or beige.

And remember to only wear something you feel comfortable in! The key to wearing something that seems outrageous on the hanger is confidence ! xo

Trend Guide : High Heels and Skinny Jeans

If leggings and boots are my cold-weather uniform during the day, high heels with skinny jeans are definitely perfect for a night out. This go-to look like wearing our models  can work for virtually any occasion, simply by switching up your top and adding different accessories. I styled this look a little more casually, adding in a trendy chambray top but luxe details like a Chanel bag and statement necklace. So chill and yet so chic. Love!

SKINFIT FOR THIS WINTER

Do you ever feel like your skin is just taking a beating? Sometimes our hectic lives can lead to skin getting over-washed and products being over-used. When you’re skin isn’t treated with the loving care it deserves, breakouts and dry spots can result. From a little added hydration to some tender loving care, check out these tips for getting your skin back on track, stat.

• Looking blotchy and red? It may be time to lay off the exfoliators and opt for a creamy, gentle cleanser. Add some cucumber or aloe infused cream to help quiet the redness.
• Chapped lips that just won’t quit? Above anything else – hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Once you’ve had all the H2O you can take, go for a flavorless lip balm (so you aren’t tempted to lick those lips!) with nourishing moisturizers. Skip the matte lipsticks and stains and opt for hydrating solutions.
• Not getting enough sleep? Well, first of all – catch those Z’s! If you’re trying to undo the damage of flaky, puffy under eyes, try creating a protective barrier for that sensitive skin with a light and fragrance-free moisturizer.

TREND GUIDE: GEL OR ACRYL NAILS

With all the options out there for gorgeous manicures, how do you decide between gel vs. acrylic nails? If you’re considering false nails, the first thing your manicurist will probably ask is gel or acrylic? 

Acrylic nails have been around for a long time and are a staple in the beauty industry. Here are the facts when it comes to acrylics:

• They can be repaired at home, but the application process requires strong chemicals.
• When you visit your salon, acrylics can be easily removed.
• They’re strong and last a long time, but they can have damaging effects on your nail bed.
• Acrylics are affordable, but may not look as natural as gels.

Gel nails are a little newer to the scene, but can provide a natural look you may not get with acrylics. Here are some of the facts if you decide to go gel.

• They have a natural, glossy look, but may not be quite as durable as acrylic options.
• Gels are tough to do at home because they require a UV light.
• Gel nails don’t require strong fumes like acrylics – they’re safer and eco-friendly.
• Gel nails have to be filed off, so you may need an appointment to get them removed.
