Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July, everyone! As we celebrate another Independence Day, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the men and women who fight to keep our country free. These are the men and women who, year after year, have put themselves on the line to make our country what it is today. I feel so blessed to live here, in the kind of country where every individual has the opportunity to go after their dreams and make them a reality. It’s the kind of environment that rewards the entrepreneurial spirit without limit, making it possible for people  to get to see our dreams come to fruition and help others achieve theirs.

Wishing you and yours a safe and fun Fourth of July! God bless! xoxo

Caitlyn Jenner on the Cover of Vanity Fair

In what is sure to be one of the most iconic magazine covers in entertainment history, Vanity Fair has just revealed Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce, as photographed by Annie Liebovitz for the July 2015 issue. Buzz Bissinger was given exclusive access to the Kardashians as the transformation took place. Now, as rumored, Caitlyn Jenner reveals her female identity and shares her emotional journey of what it means to her to live as a female.

The former Olympian bravely began her transformation months ago and was quite public about her struggle with identity when she went on the air to speak with Diane Sawyer in April.
On a personal level, Bruce Jenner was a friend and someone I cared about very much. Now that she has found her soul and identity in Caitlyn, I am incredibly happy for her and applaud her for living her life in her own way -without fear. Only the desire to live fully and with love.

Congratulations, Caitlyn. Welcome. Sending you much, much love.

Backen mit Stil - Muffins

Was ich gerade sehr mag! Backe, Backe Kekse Kuchen ...

Date Ideas

In an ideal world, dating would come easy and spending time together with your love wouldn’t be a challenge. But the fact remains that busy schedules and demanding careers make it difficult to keep a relationship fresh. Still, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. In fact, it can be a perfect opportunity to get creative and breathe some new life into your relationship. Schedule dates and respect that time the same way you would a meeting. Even a brief encounter can make for a sweet rendezvous. Here are some ideas to help get you started .

1. Early Breakfast – Wake up a little earlier and make breakfast together. Give yourself time to eat calmly and catch up, talking about anything other than work, bills and the kids. For a real treat, have breakfast at a favorite restaurant.

 2. Coffee Break – Schedule a mid-morning or mid-afternoon coffee break. If possible, take stroll and get a change of scenery before returning to your to-do list.

 3. Mid-week Lunch – Pick a romantic spot for the middle of the week and book yourself for a full hour to enjoy lunch with your sweetheart. If you’re feeling particularly inspired, set up a picnic at a nearby park, complete with a basket and blanket.

 4. Half-day Escape – Clear your schedule for half the day and go do something fun together; watch a movie, see a show, maybe even stay in bed. Whatever you choose, make sure you can disconnect for a few hours to really make it count.

 5. Date Night Out – Because weekdays tend to be so hectic, we tend to leave our date nights for the weekend. But making an effort to turn a weeknight into a special evening changes the pace. Keep things different and go out for a night on the town to forget your other worries for a while.

How do you keep your relationship fresh? Got any creative date night ideas?

Keep dating

Fall Home Decor Ideas

Use clear glass containers you may already own and fill them with natural pumpkins, acorns, and squash for an easy, earthy and chic way to celebrate the time of harvest.

Get playful with carved pumpkins and fall leaves for a whimsical outdoor setup. The throw pillow adds a great graphic touch.

For a lively dinner setup, try oversized pumpkins painted in white against a colorful tablecloth. Keep these around for the season to use at brunches, lunches, and family dinners. Add votive candles for evening events.

Get crafty with a glittery garland that brings the outdoors in. Choose varying shades to mimic the colors of the season.
