A Capricorn - so true !

You Love Work- Your friends call you a workaholic, but truly you just place your work high on your priority list. Nothing wrong with that! You work hard!

You Love Money- You work hard to—well, reap the benefits. Capricorns tend to be materialistic, but for the most part, you take care of your finances. You think about being safe for the future.

You’re Practical- Like I said, you think about your future and your safety. You aren’t a big risk taker and you like your familiar routine. This sort of pragmatic planning is kind of your thing.

You’re Loyal- Despite being a recluse at times, you’re loyal to the people you trust and love the most. Your friends know this about you and they know they can always count on you, Capricorn.

You’re Organized- Your friends and family consider you organized and responsible. You’ve always been the most “adult” out of your friends. You’re good at taking care of your life and the direction of it. People rely on your responsible nature.

You Don’t Mind Letting People Have The Attention- Once again, you’re an introvert! You don’t need people applauding you all the time. Your friends can have a moment in the spotlight while you stand somewhere nearby. It’s all good to you.

You Can’t Stand A Lie- You know when people are lying to you and you can sense a false attitude from a mile away. You’re already wary of new people. On top of that, you have a keen eye for detail, so you’re really good a spotting out a lie.

How To wear a Jean Jacket

The denim jacket is a trend that comes and goes. It was huge in the nineties and worked its way into the early 2000s. It’s back again with vengeance. I see the jean jacket on women everywhere. It’s a comfortable staple that helps you stay warm while still keeping you stylish and casual. I love denim jackets worn over the shoulder. This style technique helps make your outfit look elegant. To get the perfect jean jacket style at home, check out my styling tips below! Let me know what you think in the comments. Are you rocking jean jackets this summer?

Comfy With Sneakers- This look is perfect for when you’re out on a shopping trip and looking for some comfort while still working with style. It’s cool, easy, and definitely breezy.

With A Spring Dress- I love this look with a spring or summer dress. It really adds a little extra something and keeps your shoulders warm for those nightly breezes.

Over Your Shoulders- Like I said, I love this look. It turns your casual daytime look up a notch while creating a different kind of silhouette. Try it if you’re looking to wear something new and different.

HAIRSTYLES FOR THE BEACH SEASON

Spring is upon us, and as much as I love the warmer weather, the humidity that comes with it is another story. The sticky climate and frizzy hair that accompanies the higher temperatures is something that I could do without. Even though you’ll often see me with my hair down, sometimes it’s nice to find easy cute hairstyles to keep that uncomfortable spring and summer time sweat in check. Here are some spring friendly looks that will help you beat that untamable frizz.
Turbans and scarves- Turbans and scarves are a helpful tool to keep your hair out of your face. They can also help add color, texture, and patterns to some of your favorite outfits.

A Top Knot- Top knots don’t just add an elegant touch to your look, they also keep all your hair in one place, so you don’t have to worry about what the hot humid air is going to do to your hair.

The Half Up Knot- I’ve talked about this new hair trend before, but it’s definitely a look that will help keep your hair away from your face. It’s also supposed to look a little bit messy and rugged so it can actually work with the humidity in order make your hairstyle complete.

Have a great beach season!! xo

Spring StreetStyle Inspiration: Silver

When you hear or see the word silver, one of the very first things that come to mind is jewelry and that’s because that is the most common way that most of us incorporate the color into our everyday looks. If you’re looking for fab street style ways to wear silver, check out the tips and ideas we have below.
SILVER JEWELRY – as mentioned above, this is the most common way to wear silver and incorporate it in your everyday look. You can choose to wear dainty silver jewelry for a more refined look or bigger, bolder and chunkier ones (in layers, if you please) for an edgier look that’s perfect for street style snaps.

SILVER SHOES – now, if you’re looking for another way to wear silver that does not have anything to do with jewelry, you could try slipping into a pair of silver shoes. Go for the metallic ones – those are all the rage right now. Wear them with a plain and simple outfit and they’re sure to pop and become the center of attention.

METALLIC BOTTOMS – want something a little more futuristic? How about rocking a pair of silver bottoms? Metallic is the best way to go if you’re taking this route. A pair of metallic silver pants can make you stand out effortlessly while a metallic silver skirt allows you to do the same but with just a hint of girly-ness.

Fashion Rules To Break in 2015

There are many fashion commandments in the world. Some are great to live by, while some are complete bollocks. Here are some foolish fashion rules that you should resolve to break right now.
Two Prints Don’t Go Together

Print on print is one of the hottest trends of today because it adds a bit of spunk into any wardrobe. Get the perfect look by choosing complementing prints – meaning a mix of a vibrant style and a subdued pattern. Master this rule and you will be able to wear two prints seamlessly.
Stripes Can Make You Look Bigger

That’s what most people think, but it’s not true. To be safe though, choose thin stripes. Wear a lined top with a jacket or a blazer to create contrast.

Sheen is Only for the Nighttime

Sequins, glitter, jewels and studs – they are no longer reserved for formal or nocturnal events. Yes, you can wear them during daytime as well. Just remember not to outshine the sun! Tone down the sheen with dressed-down pieces, such as a plain white shirt or skinny jeans.

Don’t Wear White After Labor Day

White is immaculate – it makes you look clean, polished and sophisticated. Now why would you stop wearing your white pieces after Labor Day? Ditch this old wives’ fashion tale and wear your pristine pieces whenever you want to.

Petite Girls Should Not Wear Long Dresses

If you believe that long dresses can make you look shorter, that’s where you are wrong. Such a flowing dress can create an illusion of height, as long as you choose one with a nice-fitting design. Avoid super loose designs or you will end up eaten by the fabric.

Socks with Sandals are Tacky

Beg to differ and say yes! Socks with sandals are not as tacky as you think they are. This pairing, in fact, is a great solution for the wintertime. With socks, you can wear your favorite sandals without freezing your toes off.

How To Wear Loungewear

Loungewear has come a long way, from being something that you just typically wear at home to something that you opt for when you want an outfit that’s both chic and comfy that you can wear outside the house for various things like a quick coffee run with friends to running errands and even a trip to the mall on a lazy day. Lots of brands now make loungewear so stylish that you won’t have any problem sporting it outdoors. It has become a trend that’s well-loved by the practical fashionista who wants the best of both worlds. Check out these loungewear must have for hanging out in style.

SLIM KNIT TOPS – knitwear is a cold weather essential that no one should be without once the temps start to drop. If you’re looking for something easy and comfy, go for slim knit tops. These will look great when paired with jeans of leggings and boots.

PRETTY PJs – whether you’re going out or staying in, a comfy pair of PJs is sure to keep you comfy. Not too surprisingly, wearing pajamas outdoors has become a huge trend in fashion lately. One thing to remember when wearing pajamas outdoors is to accessorize well and to keep everything else in your outfit posh and polished to make it look intentional.

SWEATER DRESS – a sweater dress is a shirt dress’s counterpart in the winter. It’s the perfect piece to wear when you want a foolproof look that’s cute and stylish but also easy and laidback. Wear it on its own with thigh high or knee high boots or with leggings underneath and you’re done for the day.

SIMPLE SWEATS – jogger pants too athletic for you? Take the comfort of your look to the next level and opt for sweatpants instead. These are often looser than jogger pants so they’re less restricting but they come in fun colors and fab prints as well, just like jogger pants.

Petite Styling Tips

Petite ladies like you might lack a towering height, but you can look taller easily with a few fashion tweaks and touches. Create an illusion of length by following these style tips for petite women:

Be a Maven in Monochrome
Monochrome hues might be boring, but they can greatly boost your height. If a single color proves to be too boring for you, break the monotony with vibrant accessories such as necklaces and belts.

Look Longer with Vertical Lines
Vertical lines and details can help make you look stylishly colossal. Garments with vertical stripes are good choices, although vertical seam lines such as princess seams are good elongating options as well.

Be Cute in Cropped Jeans
If you have extra-long jeans, folding the ends – or cropping them – is the way to go. Just make sure that the end terminates above the ankle. If the fold ends anywhere else, you could make yourself look even shorter.

Fashion Tips On Making You Look Slimmer

There is no magic pill to lose weight – but you can deceive others with the right styling. Here are some insider tips that can make you look slimmer instantly. The Darker, the BetterDark colors help create an illusion of leanness. Look thinner immediately by dressing in all-black garb (other darker colors will do as well.) Why? These hues create the illusion of a long vertical line

Pick the Right PantsIf you want to look thinner ASAP, go for dark-colored trousers (such as black or navy) with a tapered leg. Avoid those with pleating. As for jeans, the same rule applies: choose dark-colored washes. Opt for straight jeans that go one to two inches below the ankle. High-waisted jeans in dark washes are slimming options as well. For the ultimate sexiness, choose denims made from stretch fabric.

Choose the Right SkirtThere are many skirts out there, but some can make you look bigger. Look shapelier with a knee-length skirt or an A-line skirt that ends above the knee. Want to look sexier this coming winter? Wear your skirts with opaque black tights for a full slimming effect.

Do you plan on wearing a tunic or a dress? Achieve a thinner look by wearing any of these with a slim belt. Cinching your waist this accessory can make you look sexier instantly.

Be Smart When it Comes to ShoesPicking the right shoes can create a sexier look as well. Shoes with low-cut vamps can make your legs look even more slender. The right heel height can create an illusion of trimness too. Heels measuring two and a half inches (and above) make clothes fall ‘better.’ These can make you appear thinner to others. If you are a fan of pumps, choose those with thin heels and pointed toes. Such designs can elongate the leg line. The result? A fabulously taller and slimmer you.

How To Rock a White Suit

This winter, give dark colors a break and go for lighter hues instead. One of the best ways to go light this season is to wear your winter whites. Gone are the days when a head to toe white outfit was reserved for Labor Day. Today, wearing a monochromatic white outfit is considered chic and stylish, Labor Day or not.
  • OVERSIZED COAT – this chic white skirt suit comes with an oversized coat with an asymmetrical finish. It’s perfect for spicing up your usual office look or even as an alternative to dresses for dressy events like wedding this season.
  • CLEAN CLASSIC – not too fond of straying away from the traditional? That’s okay. Sticking to classics is great if you’re not up to mixing and matching styles and what not on certain days and if you don’t know how to go about wearing a white suit this winter, just stick to the clean, basic but chic silhouette. Though quite simple, this is sure to turn heads.

  • DEEP NECKLINE SUIT – now, if you don’t plan on wearing your suit to the workplace and you just want to posh up your street style look, go for a sexy white suit with a deep neckline. Go as deep as you can confidently rock and make sure that you have a jacket on hand as well to cover you up when needed.
