Mango´s high street 'It' item of the season

Every season, a high-street store completely hits the nail on the head when it comes to tapping into the latest fashion trends – and this spring, it looks like Mango has won the game.
One of the Spanish label's simple statement T-shirts has been a hit all over social media – and we can see why – its fun update on the simple tee makes it a wardrobe must-have.

We don't need to tell you that logo and slogan T-shirts are two of the biggest trends of the season. From Dior's feminist tee to Gucci's iconic logo offering, the trend is showing no signs of waning as spring officially arrives, so there's little surprise bloggers are queuing up for Mango's affordable number.

From being styled with denim and leather at the weekend to pairing it with tailoring for the office, this slogan T-shirt is an easy wardrobe win. If you want to join the droves, we suggest you snap one up quickly before it inevitably sells out. The good news is that this 'It' item will cost you less than brunch.

Mouthwatering Cakes That Are Too Beautiful To Eat!

When looking at these cakes, that are more pieces of art rather than just mouthwatering desserts, you could absolutely forget that they are not real and actually made from butter. That proves the genius of their maker – Ivenoven, who started baking for other people back in December 2013 and since then her bakery grew from just her and her husband, to a small business of 12 talented bakers.

“My baking passion and journey started one fine day when I was sneaking around in my grandma’s house trying to look for her baking recipes”, she wrote on her Facebook page.

Scroll down and click through the gallery  to admire these and prepare to be super tempted!

How to style KAKI

Khaki pants have a very easy and casual look to them but they’re not exactly the top choice for bottoms for a lot of fashionistas simply because they have a better rep with country club golfers and horse riders. However, with the right pieces and the right accessories, you can create a stunning street style look with a pair of these. Here are some tips and ideas on chic ways to wear khaki pants.

WEAR IT WITH A POP OF COLOR – since khaki pants are pretty neutral, a nice pop of color somewhere in your outfit would surely do it lots of good. You can choose to wear a bright colored top for a fun and chic look or do a head to toe neutral look and wear bright statement accessories instead for your pop of color.

GO UTILITARIAN – on the other hand, if you’re not in the mood for bright and bold colors today, you can always do as the New Yorkers do and create a utilitarian look. A chic parka would be nice with khaki pants in fall or winter while a gorgeous but light trench coat would pair up great with it for summer / spring.

THE CLASSIC – another look that you can do with khaki pants is the timeless classic combo of khaki and white. Choose a crisp white button up shirt to create this look and lend it a posh look and feel to it. This is a great way to wear khaki to the office without getting too casual. You can polish it even further by adding a blazer in a neutral color. If you want something more relaxed, you can go for a simple white tee instead.

MATCH YOUR BAG TO YOUR OUTFIT

The bag matching trend is one of the hottest trends that was on every runway in this year’s Fashion Week and I think that it’ easily one of the trends from the runway that’s going to make it to everybody’s wardrobes for spring and summer. When done right, matching your bag to your outfit can help you create a very on-trend look. Do it wrong, though, and you might end up with an outfit that looks tacky. Here are some tips and tricks on how to master the bag matching trend to make sure that you end up with a gorgeous look.
MATCH WITH A MONOCHROMATIC LOOK – Want to go all out on matching your bag with your outfit? Why not do a monochromatic look and match your bag with that? To make sure that your outfit and bag matching look won’t end up being tacky, give it a little bit of variety. You can do this by either pairing up colors from the same family but of different shades or by pairing the exact same color of clothes and bag but with different textures.

MATCH YOUR BAG AND YOUR SHOES – This is an old styling trick that seems to have been forgotten over time as we went on to experiment with mixing and matching pieces from our wardrobes to create a unique look. Now that the bag matching trend is here, though, it’s a great time to go back to matching your bag with your shoes, just like you did before.

MATCH PRINTS ON YOUR OUTFIT WITH YOUR BAG – Another way to match your bag with your outfit is to match the prints on them. Of course, getting the exact same print / pattern style on your clothes and your bag can be a bit of a challenge unless everything comes from either a set or the same line so you don’t have to do that. Instead, just pair up similar prints so when you have on a floral dress, you can go for a floral bag.

Fashion Tips On Making You Look Slimmer

There is no magic pill to lose weight – but you can deceive others with the right styling. Here are some insider tips that can make you look slimmer instantly. The Darker, the BetterDark colors help create an illusion of leanness. Look thinner immediately by dressing in all-black garb (other darker colors will do as well.) Why? These hues create the illusion of a long vertical line

Pick the Right PantsIf you want to look thinner ASAP, go for dark-colored trousers (such as black or navy) with a tapered leg. Avoid those with pleating. As for jeans, the same rule applies: choose dark-colored washes. Opt for straight jeans that go one to two inches below the ankle. High-waisted jeans in dark washes are slimming options as well. For the ultimate sexiness, choose denims made from stretch fabric.

Choose the Right SkirtThere are many skirts out there, but some can make you look bigger. Look shapelier with a knee-length skirt or an A-line skirt that ends above the knee. Want to look sexier this coming winter? Wear your skirts with opaque black tights for a full slimming effect.

Do you plan on wearing a tunic or a dress? Achieve a thinner look by wearing any of these with a slim belt. Cinching your waist this accessory can make you look sexier instantly.

Be Smart When it Comes to ShoesPicking the right shoes can create a sexier look as well. Shoes with low-cut vamps can make your legs look even more slender. The right heel height can create an illusion of trimness too. Heels measuring two and a half inches (and above) make clothes fall ‘better.’ These can make you appear thinner to others. If you are a fan of pumps, choose those with thin heels and pointed toes. Such designs can elongate the leg line. The result? A fabulously taller and slimmer you.

TrendGuide: Cardigan

A cardigan is a piece of knitwear that buttons or ties in the front as opposed to a pullover, which is “pulled over” the head. There is more to this item than the traditional V-neck button-through style that makes the outer layer of a typical ‘mom’ outfit. Embellished, laced, and colorful cardigans can make your outfit complete by adding just one extra layer. This piece is one of my favorites for making the transition from summer to fall.

Over A Plain Blouse: Pop a cardi over a sleeveless or narrow-sleeved romantic blouse or streamlined shirt. Blouses and shirts with billowing sleeves bunch up underneath the fitted sleeves and look unsightly. If you have a traditional cardi style in your closet, try cinching it in at the waist with a wide belt for an updated look for the office.

Over A Simple Camisole: Layer just about any cardigan style over a knitted top or camisole, and enjoy the versatility of this extra layer. You can easily dress up a plain camisole by choosing an embellished cardigan with lace detailing – very on trend!

These versatile layering options are the perfect way of adding a new dimension to your everyday look throughout multiple seasons. Plus, since they’re so slimming, you can easily throw an overcoat on during the winter months and still stay cozy underneath.  What’s your favorite way to wear this summer to fall transition piece? Interior Design - how to use Wallpaper

Sometimes adding new accents to your home can immediately make it feel fresher and more vibrant. A simple update, like adding new wallpaper in a bold pattern, can make the whole room feel as though it’s been redesigned. I’ve taken some of my favorite design concepts and shared them  below. These are easy changes that can really take the whole room in a new direction. Which one is your favorite?
Creative Ways to Use Wallpaper
1. Behind Existing Shelves – Place bold colors and patterns inside existing wall units to make the area really pop.

2. On Stair Risers – This is an area that’s often forgotten but makes a big impact when highlighted in bright colors and patterns.

3. As Artwork – Frame panels of your favorite wallpaper to create an interesting series on a wall. Or use the wallpaper to frame canvas tiles and arrange them in a row or square.

CLOSET INSPIRATION

What girl hasn’t fantasized about having her very own massive walk-in closet? Especially after seeing Anne Hathaway immersed in Runway Magazine’s editorial closet in arguably one of the best fashion movies, The Devil Wears Prada. Or Carrie Bradshaw’s closet in SATC.

For inspiration of my ideal walk-in closet, I turned to Pinterest.

All the better to see your full outfit, right?! Not to mention they would magnify the chandelier’s light to create a beautifully lit room.

f the laundry is going to be in the closet at some point, why not simplify things and have the washer and drying super close by.
What are you daydreams for a beautiful closet? I’d love to hear your ideas and see your pictures of favorite dream closets you’re lusting after! Share with me in the comments!

TRENDGUIDE: BLACK + WHITE

This season you can’t go wrong with a black and white monochromatic look, it’s minimalistic and super easy to throw together! Take stock of the classic black and white separates you have in your closet and recreate these inspiration outfits. Here are my favorite ways to wear black and white with a little help of Pinterest.

One of the chicest pieces that every woman should own is a perfectly fitted pair of black  or white skinny jeans. They’re both casual and dressy. When you need to step it up a notch, throw on your favorite black skinny jeans with a blouse and blazer and you’re all set! Play with this versatile garment for a variety of styles including suit inspired, casual bohemian with a flowing top or totally preppy with a sweater!

Feel pretty as a princess. This color palette is simply divine for full-skirted looks. Take inspiration from classic ballerinas and slip into a tulle skirt. This trend is one to try this season! Try pairing a full tutu skirt and a striped crop top for a modern-urban take on this girlish look (very Carrie from SATC). Perhaps you’re looking to more casual look – go for a modest sweater and tights duo.

What’s your favorite way to wear this classic palette? xo

HOW TO WEAR PINK

Im a fan of pink, but not every woman likes to rock the absolute girliest side of this pretty shade. While pink has long been the color of femininity, true femininity doesn’t always have to be overtly ‘girly.’ Color itself shouldn’t dictate how dainty an item is. After all, there are plenty of mens clothes that come in this most delicate of hues. Fashion has long been known to portray pink in lace, flowers and granny knit cardigans and has very often forgotten how strong, bold and edgy it could be. Thinking slightly outside the box, here are my favorite ways to wear pink without looking too girly:
