Ralph Lauren - Goodbye

Junger Partner stellt neue Weichen

Der 41-jährige Larsson arbeitete 15 Jahre lang für die schwedische Modekette H&M, bevor er 2012 bei Old Navy anheuerte. Lauren holt damit einen jüngeren Partner an Bord und stellt so die Weichen für die Führung.

French Woman Styling secrets

French women are some of the most beautiful women in the world. A lot of it has to do with their relaxed confidence and their chic style. French women practically invented modern fashion (Coco Chanel, anyone?). The modern day French woman seems to always be dressed to perfection. They are some of my favorite people to watch during Fashion Week. Are you a fan of French style like I am? Check out some ways that you can dress more like a stylish French woman. Let me know what you think in the comments section.

Put Down The Hair Brush- French women are known for their messy tresses. They have a classic case of bed head but it works for them. It’s a sexy look that you can totally achieve. They don’t fuss with their hair, it’s just natural.

Stay Away From Trends- Stay away from trends and go for a signature look instead. Go with a cool down-to-Earth style and keep your favorite French fashionistas in mind when you get dressed.

Don’t Go Heavy On Accessories- Ever notice how French women rarely wear baubles and over-the-top accessories? They keep their jewelry and other accessories to a minimum. It’s all about minimalistic style for French women.

Focus On The Fit- Instead of fast-fashion, French women shop for staple pieces that will last them longer. They also focus on fit and know when to head to the tailors when they find a look that they love. They need it fit perfectly to their body type.

It’s All About Attitude- Put your personality into your looks and wear them with the confidence of a beautiful French woman. It’s all about attitude, ladies.

Travel Tips

Are you headed out on your to MAIC? Or are you simply an experienced traveler going somewhere new this season? No matter what type of traveler you are – from luxury all the way to a total road tripper – everyone can use a few tips. Whether you’re headed out on an overnighter at the beach or you’re off on a more extensive global adventure, when it comes to traveling – it’s key to have a few tricks up your sleeve. Ready to learn a thing or two? Here are a few tips every experienced traveler knows.

1. Always travel with an emergency stash of cash. You never know what can happen – no matter where you are. So, having a secret stash of cash means you’ll have a few bucks even if you lose your wallet or have something stolen from you. Keep the cash in a separate spot from your wallet – like a hidden pocket in your suitcase or in envelope in the back of your iPad case. Get creative!
2. Know how to say no (politely, of course!). Sounds so simple, right? When traveling, it’s easy to get sold on things, experiences or even into going places that you don’t want to. Whether it’s a stranger haggling with you or it’s your travel buddy trying to talk you into doing something you don’t want to, saying no is important so that you have the experience you want without feeling pressured. It’s your trip, after all!
3. How to pack smart. There’s a fine line between over-packing, under-packing and knowing how to pack so that you have just what you need. Go for items that can be layered and used to do double duty – like a dress that can double as both a swimsuit cover up and a casual look for happy hour. When traveling for business, pack items that can be easily mixed and matched to create multiple looks for business meetings and dinners.
4. Meet the locals! There’s nothing better when it comes to traveling than getting the local experience – so get out there and meet people. From the best places to eat, to the local watering hole and all the coolest sights, locals know best – so don’t be shy.
5. Dress for success when it comes to travel day. Getting through the airline security line can be such a hassle – so prepare yourself. Dress in layers so that you can easily slip things off and into your carry-on while you go through the line. Go for shoes that slip easily on and off and make sure you’re prepared with airline approved size toiletries.
6. Have everything you need (and a little extra) in your carry-on. From reading material to charging cords and all your favorite devices to your makeup and other cosmetic essentials – a carry-on is like a gold mine of all your favorite things. Be sure to have everything that will keep you feeling good and entertained – even if you have travel delays or long travel days. While you’re at, throw in an extra change of clothes – just in case your luggage gets lost.

Are you a frequent traveler? What are some tips you’ve picked up along the way?

Keep traveling

Outfit Inspiration: White Pants

Summer is the perfect time for all things white which is why there is no better time to bust out your white pants than now. Some women are overwhelmed by white pants. They fear that it might get dirty throughout the day or, worse, it might make their legs look not so slim and slender. The latter is because of the common belief that dark colors help make you look slimmer while lighter colors do the opposite. However, white pants can actually be very figure flattering. Here are some tips o n how to wear white pants with slimming results.

TRY FLARED JEANS – if you’re top heavy, a pair of white flared jeans might just be what you need to balance out your figure and look a little more slender and slim. The flared out part of the jeans will help give you a more proportional silhouette while the color white gives your overall outfit cleaner lines and a more streamlined form.

SKINNY STYLE – skinny jeans are called so for a reason and that is because they’re great at making your legs look slimmer. Because of the way they fit, skinny jeans can make your legs look instantly slim – perfect for when you don’t really feel like your best self but still want to look super chic and hot. Pair it up with a figure flattering top and you’re good and ready to make heads turn.

MAKE THAT NUDE HEELS – the nude heels trick has been tried and tested to make you look taller but did you know that aside from that, this styling trick also makes you look slimmer? This is especially true when you wear it with white pants. Make sure to choose a pair of nude heels that come close to the color of your natural skin tone to get optimum results.

ALL WHITE – for a truly sophisticated outfit that’s both slimming and flattering while also being perfect for summer, go all out and do an all white look. A cute white top paired up with crisp white pants will not only make you look gorgeous but slimmer as well. Not to mention, the look is totally on trend right now.
