Stella McCartney’s iconic ‘Falabella’ has come in many chic guises since its launch in 2009. Updated for Resort ’17 in soft denim, this style is embroidered with desert-inspired cacti and flowers. It has been made in Italy and is finished with the signature gunmetal chain. Inside you’ll find a slot for your cards and space for your cell phone and compact.

Gucci’s Spring ’16 collection is filled with decorative, vintage-inspired details. Cut from lustrous crimson silk-satin in a flattering A-line shape, this wrap-effect skirt first caught our eye on the Milan runway. It’s intricately embroidered with gold flowers and a sky-blue scalloped pattern. We think it looks particularly elegant styled with a ruffled blouse.

Shops for Vintage Denim in NYC

Vintage stores can be hit or miss, but when we heard that Bella Hadid hunts for her Levi’s at The Vintage Twin in New York, we knew it had to be good. Run by twins Morgan and Samantha Elias, the sisters search around the world for their impressive collection of denim and vintage clothes.

 Their online store features some of their finds, but they also run two pop-up shops in NYC. Each has a “JEANius Bar” where they specialize in finding the perfect fit and size for their It-girl clients. They also do custom pieces, like the reworked leather jacket and camo coat they recently designed for Cara Delevingne.


If you’re interested in seeing more, make sure to follow them on Instagram. They often post what their fashion girl fans have unearthed at their stores. Alexa Chung snagged a vintage tee and leather trench coat, pulling off Françoise Hardy vibes. And blogger Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What found a checked blazer and ankle cropped jeans.

Whether you’re after the perfect pair of vintage Wranglers or a worn-in band tee, The Vintage Twin is worth a visit.

Denim shorts are a summer staple no matter who you are or what your body type is. It’s just too hot outside so we’ve all put away our skinny jeans and opted for some shorts instead. If you’re unsure on how to style those super cute denim shorts you bought just for the summer. I’ve got some tricks on how you can rock denim shorts and look trendy and fashionable while doing so. ALEXA CHUNG - Hot Denim

Unsere liebste Fashionista Alexa Chung hat nun eine weitere prestigeträchtige Kooperation an Land gezogen und wird eine eigene Capsule Collection für das kalifornische Label AG Jeans auf den Markt bringen. Da klatscht mein modebegeistertes Herzchen freudig erregt in die Hände und fiebert, trotz gerade erst begonnenem Sommer und größter Winteraversion, doch glatt schon ein bisschen dem kommenden Januar entgegen.

Dann soll die Kollektion nämlich lanciert werden.

Insgesamt 20 Teile wird die Linie umfassen, darunter Jeanshosen, Denimkleider und T-Shirts. Zwar gibt es noch kein Bildmaterial zur Kollektion, doch wie wir Madame und ihren Look kennen, dürfen wir uns ganz sicher auf Alexa-typische Haben-Wollen-Teile freuen. Was die Gute selbst über ihre Denim-Linie zu sagen hat, klingt auf jeden Fall schon einmal vielversprechend. „Die Kollektion besteht natürlich aus Jeansteilen, die ich mir immer schon in meiner Garderobe gewünscht habe und bisher leider noch fehlten und sind – wie so oft – vor allem von den 60er-Jahren inspiriert“, erklärt Fashionsta Chung !

• Stick with different washes and fits – DON’T wear lights together or two super-fitted pieces. 
• DO tuck in your shirt. Play around with the full tuck, front tuck, half tuck and see which silhouette works for you. DO add a skinny belt  to break up your top and bottom half!
• DON’T forget accessories. Adding this glam is not only trendy but gives your look a chic finish.
