CUTEST GYM SHOES EVER

Being a girly girl, I don’t usually wear sneakers unless I’m headed to the gym or out to do some running. I always prefer walking around in either flats or heels because I think these kinds of shoes just fit my personal sense of style more. Recently, though, a lot of sneakers have been catching my attention. These sneakers are that type that will leave you wanting to keep them on for as long as possible because they are just so gorgeous. Here are some of the most fab sneakers you’ll want to wear outside the gym.
NIKE ROSHE RUN – The Nike Roshe Run is the perfect sneaker style for those who appreciate the beauty in simple things. There isn’t much to see on these and that’s practically what makes them so chic. They’re simple, elegant and they’re guaranteed to go well with any outfit, be it for the gym or not. www.nike.com

ASICS GEL-NOOSA TRI 8 – Need a burst of color in your look? The Asics Gel-Noosa Tri 8 can take care of that. This crazy, colorful pair of shoes can turn any plain outfit into an attention-grabber and an eye catcher. It’s not only pretty, it’s super lightweight and comfy, too, which is great for just strolling around with your gal pals on a lazy afternoon.

SKECHERS FLEX APPEAL – Another colorful pair that you can wear anywhere other than the gym is the Skechers Flex Appeal. These feature memory foam to ensure comfort while you walk or run in them and they also have a mesh upper that keeps things nice and breezy. The Flex Appeal comes in a variety of colors and patterns including Floral Bloom which is the perfect way to add a hint of girliness to this sporty piece.

ADIDAS RACER LITE W – The last pair to join the list of sneakers that you’ll want to wear even outside the gym is the Adidas Racer Lite. These are super popular with the ladies who are into printed sneakers because the print designs that these come in are so cute. www.adidas.com

SpringTrends 2015

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need expensive clothes to look chic and stylish. With these DIY fashion hacks (straight from the runway, of course,) you can look posh – without spending too much money.
Note: Get your closet ready for these DIY hacks as this is only part I!

WRAP AND TUCK IT

If there’s a roomy button-down lying around your closet somewhere, know that you can invent it with the many DIY fashion hacks out there. One of the most popular styles is the wrap and tuck.
How to do it: Wear a button-down shirt, take one end and wrap it around your body. Tuck it in your pants or skirt to achieve a runway-worthy style.

MAKE YOUR COCKTAIL DRESS A CASUAL ONE

There are many DIY fashion hacks that involve cocktail dresses, but you’ll surely treasure this one.

How to do it: Wear your sparkly cocktail dress underneath a button-down shirt. Yes, button-down shirts are game-changers, so be sure to own several pieces!

VIVIFY YOUR VEST

A vest is a good piece of outerwear, but you can actually wear it on its own. This is one of the DIY fashion hacks that high-fashion designers employ.
How to do it: Wear an oversized vest and cinch it with a belt or a stylish string.  Talk about insta-glam!

SHIRT OVER DRESS

If a dress is too simple for you, you can glam up your look with the shirt over dress DIY fashion hack.
How to do it: Wear a dress (a long one, for best results) and don a shirt on top of it. Pick contrasting lengths so that the ends of the dress can flounce with you as you walk.

TIME FOR GETTING READY FOR A SPRING WARDROBE

With spring just a few more days away, I’m pretty sure a lot of you ladies out there are already searching up the new trends for the coming season to make sure that your closet is filled with pieces that are guaranteed to give you only the most fabulous looks. Before you get into that, though, you need to make sure your wardrobe is ready to transition from winter to spring first. If you’re already planning on transitioning early, check out these tips on how to start getting ready for a spring wardrobe.
START STASHING AWAY THE HEAVY PIECES – the earlier days of spring are going to be cold but not as cold as winter which means you’ll be needing thick, heavy and chunky pieces in your wardrobe. Get rid of most of the heavy pieces in your closet and keep only those that you’ve recently worn, preferably the really versatile ones that will let you last a few couple more cold winter weeks.
SLOWLY GET RID OF YOUR WINTER ACCESSORIES – once spring comes, you won’t be needing those gloves anymore and that chunky knit scarf isn’t going to be as useful either. And those snow boots? Soon, they’ll be nothing but ‘too warm’ for your spring-giddy legs. Slowly get rid of the winter accessories that have taken over your closet to make way for the new spring accessories you’re about to load it up with.
KEEP CORE ESSENTIALS – don’t be too quick to discard of everything in your winter wardrobe, though. There are pieces that can be worn all year round and these are called the core essentials or the ‘basics’. These will stay in your closet for as long as they’re wearable so make sure you’re well-stocked up on these. Core essentials include jeans, plain shirts and special occasion dresses among other things.

TAKE IT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURGE – how often do you really go through your stuff to see which ones are still good, which ones are still usable and which ones aren’t? Not as often as you should, I bet. If you think you have too many clothes in your closet (and you probably do), take this transition from winter to spring as an opportunity to do a closet purge. Really take the time to take everything out and toss them into keep, toss and donate bins.
LAYER USING SPRING ESSENTIALS – now is the perfect time to start re-introducing your spring staples to your closet and using them with many of your looks. How do you pull off wearing spring wear in winter, you ask? It’s easy! Just use them to create layers in your outfit.
START WEARING MORE COLORS – the usual winter wardrobe is filled with dark, dull and muted colors and one great way to get your wardrobe ready for spring is to start adding more colorful pieces and start wearing more fun prints.

PLUS SIZE BLOGGERS YOU’LL LOVE

As far as plus-size fashion goes, it’s a common gripe that there seems to be a gaping hole in the marketplace when it comes to brands that are equal parts on-trend and made to flatter curves, and that there aren’t enough plus-size women at the forefront of fashion to set a positive example. Luckily, that’s starting to change—an increasing number of brands and stores are including plus-size merchandise and, in some awesome cases, models in their campaigns. While that’s all amazing, it’s really the advent of plus-size fashion bloggers that seems to be making the most influential waves.
What’s so refreshing about curvy bloggers isn’t the fact that we’re seeing a varied collection of bodies in a marketplace that’s getting to be way too standardized, but really the idea that most of these young women truly understand style, and—as a result—understand that the there are no such things as “rules” in fashion!
Before we had these young women as examples, there’s a good chance most full-figured women would shy away from trends like crop tops, bold patterns, and body-con dresses, but now we’re seeing that these types of things not only work for a huge variety of shapes, but can also look fabulous and modern if chosen correctly, just like any other item on any other body type.

Pre-Fall 2015 Trends to Try Now

Pre-fall 2015 is a strange fashion schedule that traverses November through May. Sometimes it lingers until pre-fall, which gives credence to its’ name. Although the timing of this season is confusing, its styles are something you should try now! If you’re ready to be at the forefront of fashion, get your hands on these pre-fall 2015 trends.
1. Layers – Pre-fall 2015 trends are all about staying stylish and cozy. Of course, a great way to do so is to wear layers. Put your clothes on top of one another for a comfy yet textured look.

2. The Ornamental Belt – A belt has many uses, but for pre-fall 2015 trends, it is used more as an ornament. Follow the fashions of Prada and Balmain by using a belt as decoration rather than purposive reasons.

3. The Long Skinny Scarf – Updating the classics is one of the hallmarks of pre-fall 2015 trends. Such is the case of Givenchy, which has updated the long skinny scarf by styling it as a necktie.

4. Knee-High Socks – One of the pre-fall 2015 trends that can keep your legs warm and fashionable is the knee-high sock. As in the spirit of rejuvenating fashion classics, designers are reinventing these socks for the runways. Miu Miu invigorates the look by creating a haute couture, girl scout-like fashion style by sending its models down the runway in shorts and knee-high socks.

5. Fishnet Stockings – Fishnet stockings might be reminiscent of Moulin Rouge, but designers nowadays consider them to be some of the hottest pre-fall 2015 trends. They can be a welcome alternative to your usual tights! -

6. Brooches – A brooch is a hot item that can glamorize your look. This accessory can be utilized on a number of items, such as the blanket cape. A hot item over the past few seasons, it continues to be one of the hottest pre-fall 2015 trends. Rejuvenate your look by keeping your cape together with a fancy pin or brooch. The same accessorizing trend applies with your favorite jacket. A stunning brooch can make your topper look like one of the runway’s most expensive pre-fall 2015 trends.

Trendguide: Mix Metallics Into Your Outfit

Metallic pieces used to be worn only during nighttime events (and 80s themed ones) but today they’re everywhere – from the runway to the streets to the malls and everywhere else fashionistas would be spotted. Metallics have made it to the top list of trend to try this summer and it’s not to late to give this one a go. Now, some women think that wearing metallic pieces during the day and for your everyday ordinary looks is a bit too much but the truth is, with the right pieces and a little bit of tweaking and styling, you can wear metallic pieces anytime, anywhere. Here are some tips on how to wear metallic pieces.
1. Try a metallic suit– it may seem a bit much for some and it may not be totally office-friendly but a metallic suit is a great outfit to reach for it you want to make a statement or if you’re looking for a head-turning alternative to a gorgeous dress that you can wear to parties. Make sure your suit has just the right metallic sheen to it so that’s it’s not too overly empowering and make sure not to wear any more metallic pieces or carry metallic accessories as you’re already wearing metallics from head to toe, basically.

2. Strut your stuff in a metallic bikini– want to stand out at the beach without wearing too many statement pieces? That’s easy. Simply choose to wear a metallic swimsuit / bikini instead of a regular one. The metallic sheen will reflect just the right amount of light to capture other people’s attention without totally blinding them. Metallic bikinis are great when you want something that’s unique and will draw attention to that sexy beach body you’ve been working on for so long.

3. Pair it with neutrals– if you want to down play the ‘flashiness’ of metallics, one really great way to do so and keep your outfit looking classy is to wear it with neutrals. This combination is like a fresh twist on the minimalistic look. It’s simple, subtle and classy all at the same time.

5. Accessorize with metallics– if you’re not sure you can pull off actually wearing metallic clothes but would still like to get a bit of that nice sheen in on your look, you can accessorize with metallics instead. Metallic shoes, belts, purses and bangles are just some of the most stylish ways to accessorize a plain and simple outfit.
