The other Veil For The Unique Bride
If
you’re an alternative bride, a regular veil just won’t cut it. You want your
wedding to be just as unique as you are, which means that you’ll be looking for
veil alternatives to match the personality your wedding. Below are some options
to give you inspiration. Check them out! Which one is your favorite?
The
Veil Head Wrap- Instead of wearing your veil the
traditional way, go for wearing it like a head wrap. Add some bling or some
flowers to it. Get creative.
A Bohemian Headpiece-
Go for something really unique like the bride below. This headpiece brings bohemian
cool and 1920s vintage together to create something totally different. I
absolutely love it.
A Geometric Headband-
Wear something bold if you’re a modern bride like this geometric headband. It’s
creates a fascinating effect.
A Hooded Cape- Go for

TRENDS INSPIRED BY BRIDES
There’s something so romantic and magical about weddings, and the fashion always tends to follow suit with the mood of the occasion. It’s undoubtedly one of the best places to get inspiration for fashion and, you may have already noticed, many of the more recent sartorial trends have been inspired by these romantic events. If you’re feeling swept away by wedding trends, here are some of my favorite looks that were totally stolen from the brides.
VEILS – Remember bonnets with veils from last winter? Where do you think people got that look from? Being a bride used to be one of the few reasons women could wear veils but last winter, bonnets with veils were everywhere and, to be honest, it was quite an interesting look that I think added lots of edge and character to the outfit of anyone who wore it. Another way that veils are being incorporated into everyday looks is through fascinators.
GLOVES – Amal Clooney may have nailed the trend in one of her red carpet looks but it’s actually the brides who used to get all the first when it came to wearing gloves. Gloves never fail to add a hint of sophistication to any look, especially the long ones that go up beyond the elbow. These look really pretty with formal / evening looks though you can also make it work for daytime looks as well.
CAPES – Fall and winter last year were all about capes – from blanket style capes to superhero-worthy ones – and they weren’t just big, they were bold too! Everyone – from your celebrity style icon to your favorite fashion blogger and even down to the average fashion-obsessed teen in your street — sported one at least once in the past seasons and I’m pretty sure the pictures all over the internet and on magazines made you want on at some point as well.
DAYTIME SPARKLES – Sequins and glitters used to be something you would only wear for a nighttime outfit (party looks, most of the time) unless you were a bride then you could wear as much sparkle in your outfit as you like no matter what time of the day it is. Recently, though, fashionistas decided to do as the brides do and rock their sequins and glitters during the day and we couldn’t be happier.

SpringTrends 2015
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need expensive clothes to look chic and stylish. With these DIY fashion hacks (straight from the runway, of course,) you can look posh – without spending too much money.
Note: Get your closet ready for these DIY hacks as this is only part I!
WRAP AND TUCK IT
If there’s a roomy button-down lying around your closet somewhere, know that you can invent it with the many DIY fashion hacks out there. One of the most popular styles is the wrap and tuck.
How to do it: Wear a button-down shirt, take one end and wrap it around your body. Tuck it in your pants or skirt to achieve a runway-worthy style.
MAKE YOUR COCKTAIL DRESS A CASUAL ONE
There are many DIY fashion hacks that involve cocktail dresses, but you’ll surely treasure this one.
How to do it: Wear your sparkly cocktail dress underneath a button-down shirt. Yes, button-down shirts are game-changers, so be sure to own several pieces!
VIVIFY YOUR VEST
A vest is a good piece of outerwear, but you can actually wear it on its own. This is one of the DIY fashion hacks that high-fashion designers employ.
How to do it: Wear an oversized vest and cinch it with a belt or a stylish string. Talk about insta-glam!
SHIRT OVER DRESS
If a dress is too simple for you, you can glam up your look with the shirt over dress DIY fashion hack.
How to do it: Wear a dress (a long one, for best results) and don a shirt on top of it. Pick contrasting lengths so that the ends of the dress can flounce with you as you walk.

Over The Knee Boots - the right way
Boots are perfect for autumn and winter, as they can keep your feet warm and wonderful. But if you are tired of the usual styles, then you should go ahead and try over-the-knee boots. They might be intimidating to wear at first, but styling them well will surely gain you some acclaim. Here are several ways on how to wear over-the-knee boots like a natural-born fashionista:
WITH PANTS
If you’re not in the mood to show your legs (maybe you haven’t shaved them, ha!) then wear your over-the-knee boots with your favorite jeans. Not only will this pairing keep you warm, the right styling can give the illusion of never-ending legs.
WITH FUR
Looking for a reason to wear your fur coat outside? Go ahead and pair it with your over-the-knee boots. This will make you look so sophisticated – definitely perfect for formal functions and swanky date nights.
WITH LEATHER
It does not matter whether you already have leather over-the-knee boots, they will still look well with weather. It’s like a fashion continuation that starts at the hips – and ends at the feet.
WITH PRINTS
Unless you have printed over-the-knee boots, such footwear definitely goes great with vibrant designs and styles. If you are feeling more adventurous, why not pick a brightly-colored boot.
And? Post a comment!! xo

Styling Guide: Fall Date Night Outfits
Fall fashion is usually composed of chunky, heavy and bulky clothes so we can keep warm. Around this time, a lot of people would choose comfort over style but that doesn’t mean you can’t do both. Going out on a date with your man is one of the times when you’d really want to look good but also be comfy so you can have a good time so I’ve compiled a list of cute fall date night outfit ideas that you can take inspiration from so you can be stylish and cozy on that special night ..
SWEATER DRESS AND KNEE HIGH BOOTS – if you’re going on a very casual date night with your man, something easy and laidback might just be what you need. A sweater dress is perfect for when you want something really comfy but also cute. You can wear it on its own or with tights underneath and then finish it off with knee high boots to add a bit of a sexy vibe to your look. If you’re worried about a sweater dress looking “too casual”, you can always dress it up with accessories and add a belt.

JUMPSUIT – need something quick and easy? A jumpsuit just might be what you need. If you want to keep the autumn feel of you can opt for a jumpsuit in a darker color but if you don’t mind making a statement, a printed one or one in a fun, bright color is perfect for adding cheer to your night. Rompers are great, too, for when it’s not too cold out. Add a blazer to this outfit if you want it to be more cozy.
FULL SKIRT – for a more ladylike look, you’ll want something dainty, chic and feminine like a full skirt. What’s great about full skirts is that they look great on just about anyone, especially when worn at midi length. You can wear any top with a full skirt, too.

Fall Trend: Midi Skirt Styling
A midi skirt is a top choice amongst women with gorgeous gams. But for some reason, the majority of ladies out there tend to stay away from this fashion staple. So before you completely say no to the midi skirt, know that you can rock them with the right style and attitude. (Read: it does not matter if you don’t have long model-esque legs.) These street style ways of wearing can make you look like a fashionista in no time.
While midi skirts are reminiscent of spring and summer, you can wear them during spring and winter as well. Since sporting just form-fitting tops will transform you into an icicle, make sure to wear it with a curve-hugging outerwear. Midi skirts are known for their volume, so balance your bottoms with a shapely sweater or motorcycle jacket.

Go Against the Flow
A great thing about the midi skirt is that it covers much of your legs (although it is not an excuse not to shave your legs.) Because of this style, a street-chic way to wear the midi skirt is to pair it with a sexy, form-fitting top. A simple tank top or tee can give you a timeless look – just make sure to tuck it in! What’s great about a simple top is it gives you the freedom to go gaga with accessories. How To Wear Fringe
Fringes are something we all so easily associate with summer and this may be because of the fact that fringes are so overly abundant during summer music festivals. Just because that’s the case, though, doesn’t mean you can’t wear fringes in colder seasons like fall and winter. Fringes are definitely more of an all-year rounder, if you ask me. You can wear them on anything at any time of the year. If you’re looking for a way to add more detail and movement to your look, adding fringes is definitely the way to go. Here are our favorite ways to wear fringe beyond summer.
1. Fringe boots – fringe boots are definitely fall and winter material. They’re great for accessorizing your look and for keeping your feet warm at the same time. Fringe boots have a rather strong Western appeal to them. These are not usually the kind of boots you’d want to wear with dressy pieces but with more casual and street style pieces instead. When wearing fringe boots, make sure your pants aren’t bulky or chunky as the combo of fringed boots and baggy/bulky/chunky pants tend to blow off body proportions in a major way.
2. Fringe sweater – sweaters are always in every woman’s fall and winter wardrobe and if you want to sport a unique piece that’s both cute and comfy, a fringed sweater is perfect. Choose sweaters with fringes on areas that you want to highlight and not on areas that you want to downplay as this will just draw more attention to the spot.
3. Fringe cardigan – another cute and comfy way to wear fringes beyond summer is to wear fringed cardigans. Just throw them on top of your skirt and jeans and you’re ready to go. Try not to wear anything else with fringes, though. You wouldn’t want to end up in a hot tangled mess at the most inopportune time.
4. Fringe bag – not very excited about wearing fringed clothing? You don’t have to. Instead, what you can do is to carry a fringed bag. Fringed bags are so versatile. They look summery when worn with summer clothes but they do blend in well with fall clothing as well, especially when it’s in a warm and earthy color.
5. Fringe scarf – if you’re a fan of scarves during the fall and winter months, you might want to give fringed scarves a shot. Fringes on your scarf also help create more movement in your look. They also help create a more interesting texture for your outfit that, in return, makes your outfit look more noticeable and interesting .

Gorgeous Fall Wedding Trends
Spring and summer are considered wedding seasons and while they may have already gone, getting married in fall is just as magical and romantic. I personally love a fall wedding more than a wedding during any other season. I just think fall is the perfect time to do a rustic romantic wedding, which is totally chic. If you’re getting married this fall (or next fall), check out these breathtaking fall wedding trends that you can incorporate to it.
1. Darker, warmer, richer colors – forget about neon shades and pastels, this fall, use darker, warmer and richer colors for your wedding motif. This will give the whole wedding a cozier, more homey and more rustic feel.
2. Long sleeved dresses – it would only make sense to go for long sleeved dresses but aside from that, it’s quite the trend too. If you don’t mind being covered up a little bit more than the usual bride, going for a long sleeved dress is definitely one of the best ways to go. You can keep your bridal look sexy by keeping your dress’s silhouette so.
3. Bridal outerwear – in case you already had your dress done sans sleeve, you can still keep yourself warm by adding on an outerwear. Of course, you’ll want to choose something appropriate to go and blend in well with your whole bridal look; something elegant, classy and feminine. Capes are on trend right now so those are an option. You can also go for a fur shrug or maybe a feather bolero.

4. Fall blooming flowers – insisting that you have spring and summer flowers in your bridal bouquet is doable but it’s not practical. First off, it those flowers would cost more when they’re not in season and secondly, they’re going to seem out of place with every other fall-themed thing in your wedding. Go for fall blooming flowers instead to really give your wedding that feeling of fall.
5. Floral crowns – brides would usually opt for tiaras but for fall, why not go for a floral crown made with fall flowers? It will really tie in with the whole autumn-y look and feel of your wedding plus it’s going to give you that cool ‘queen of the woods’ look.
6. Vintage jewelry – lastly, you need to finish off your bridal look with jewelry and for fall, vintage jewelry would be really chic. This is where your ‘something old’ could come in. You could use heirloom jewelry for a truly vintage addition to your look. If you don’t have anything vintage, you can always fake it. If you have a really good eye for jewelry and all things chic, no one will know.
Would you like to get married in the autumn ?
