Loubichrome is the new nail varnish trio on the block this year: available in three iridescent, specchio leather-inspired shades in bottles inspired by Louboutin heels themselves.

This is a limited edition collection of mini nail colours made up of energetic shades inspired by the ultra-luxurious qualities of specchio, a laminated leather with a mirror-like quality, loved by
Christian Louboutin for its ability to capture light and take on new dimension.

Diamond Nails” Are The Latest Beauty Trend

If your heart went all aflutter after you saw last year’s shattered-glass nail trend, then we have excellent news. South Korean manicurist Eunkyung Park, owner of Seoul’s Unistella Salon and the creator of some of the most creative nail art we’ve ever seen, has sparked yet another trend we’re dying to get our hands on (or rather, get on our hands). And if you can believe it, it’s even shinier — and more mesmerising — than her last.

Where the glassy technique used pieces of cellophane to create a prismatic effect, the updated version uses what looks like holographic foil that you’d find at a craft store. Park hasn’t shared her exact method of creating the look, but our guess is that she employs a similar cut-and-glue M.O. to create that diamond-like shine. (Hence why Park calls it the 3-D diamond nail.)

Considering just how quickly its predecessor look shot to Instagram stardom, don’t be surprised if diamond nail art starts showing up on your feed, like, yesterday. Want to beat everyone else to the punch? Grab some foil, a clear topcoat, a pair of scissors, and give it a try. Just don't do it on days you need to concentrate — because you won't be able to look away.

Christmas gift: Christian Louboutin’s Ultra Luxe Lipstick

When Christian Louboutin was asked “what woman can wear his Rouge Louboutin Lip Colour”, he replied simply, yet definitively “every woman!”.  After all, the iconic shade was formulated to complement women of all skin tones, and comes in three different finishes to suit any occasion.

Just in time for the holidays, the designer re-introduces the Rouge Louboutin Lip Colour Collection Limited Edition comprised of Rouge Louboutin Lip Colours in three finishes: Silky Satin, Velvet Matte, and Sheer Voile. The jewelry inspiration comes to life with a gunmetal chain to complement the silver, gold, and black finishes of each piece.

For Christian Louboutin, a designer and creator of rare objects, lipstick is a woman’s magic wand. No longer tucked away between the key ring and the nail file, the Louboutin Lip Colour transforms a forgotten object into a treasured jewel.

Inspired by Middle Eastern antiquities and the Art Deco movement, the solid metal body is reminiscent of a precious vial. The turret-like crown cap is topped with a small ring threaded with a silk ribbon, turning the lip colour into a necklace.

Victoria’s Secret Angels Beauty Tips

Backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, surrounded by gorgeous women in slinky pink robes and lingerie, one thing was clear: These girls are flawless. Not only have they won the genetic lottery, but they’ve also got access to some of the best beauty pros in the industry.

As flaw-free as they may look in catalogues and on the runway, even Angels don’t wake up with those perfectly tousled waves and glowing skin.
Check out some of the tips the Angels themselves shared with us!

Alessandra Ambrosio swears by sunscreen every single day to keep her skin healthy. “After you turn 30, you need to keep your face out of the sun if you want to still work [as a model],” she says ..
It’s important it is to curl your lashes before putting mascara on — it really helps to open up your eyes. Shu Uemura makes a great eyelash curler.

To make the illusion that you have fake lashes get a card — like cardboard or a credit card place it behind your eyelashes, and then you use your mascara and push it against it, and then it makes it look like you’ve got a false lash. It’s really good.

Always do the contouring and highlight the cheekbones, the eye sockets with a little bronzer… just that, even, kind of makes you look more awake and refined, and you can do in two seconds. That’s something you can do every day.

Dior’s Lipsticks for Fall/Winter 2016/17

Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup, has reinterpreted four cult colors from Dior’s history. The House’s first crimson red is revisited in a matte version in 999 Matte. The soft coral red of 080 Red Smile references 080 Red, a fresh and bright lipstick created by Christian Dior in 1959.

With its intense fuchsia, 047 Miss evokes the rose present in the Miss Dior fragrance, conceived by the couturier-perfumer in 1947. Lastly, natural and light 060 Première is an homage to the bois de rose created by Monsieur Dior who gave it the number 60.

"I designed this Rouge Dior collection so that every woman could express herself by choosing and changing shades as she desired,” explains Peter Philips, who has created a new palette inspired by the House’s couture universe. For the first time, the iconic lipstick appears in a matte version, saturated with glowing pigment. Satin-effect lipsticks are also reinvented to appeal to a woman who’s fearless, fun and unpredictable. Over a sixteen-hour stretch its comfort is unequaled: Rouge Dior acts as a soothing, moisturizing skincare thanks to its base of mango butter and hyaluronic acid spheres.

With a focus on the art of color at the core of his creations, Peter Philips has also created exclusive it shades, four essential hues or extreme matte shades, in intense and striking colors: magnetic blue, purple, reddish-black and gray.

The new Rouge Dior campaign reveals a liberated, assured and radiant Natalie Portman, photographed by David Sims, seductive in her modernity and vitality.

Her feel-good mood proves contagious, and recalls Christian Dior’s desire to “dress a woman’s smile”. Today, Peter Philips, as Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup,  has designed a new palette of striking colors inspired by the House’s couture universe.

FLOP: Leg Contouring

It started with regular facial contouring. We wanted a more defined look and learned that all it took was some bronzer and highlighter. Then, we refined the concept with “baking” and setting. Now, on the heels of neck contouring, Instagram makeup gurus are introducing leg contouring.

My question is: Have we gone too far? Listen, I’m all for glammed out looks and over-the-top ways to create the perfect face. I was even into neck contouring! But, for some reason leg contouring feels a little too extreme.

Maybe it’s the fact that we’re photoshopping our bodies in real life when our legs look just fine. In fact, they look perfect. They may not be Giselle Bundchen legs, but they’re your legs and that should be enough, right? Even for a special occasion, this seems a little extreme. Then again, it seems as though Instagram makeup girls are just having some fun and who am I to judge that?
In my opinion, you need to keep the contouring to the face and neck while loving yourself all the way through. Drop the blending brush, girl. Your legs look great as is, but if you want to have a little fun and play with some makeup, I totally understand that too.

What do you think of leg contouring? Too much or not enough? Let me know in the comments section!

Beauty Trends to Look Forward To in 2016

Is anyone else as shocked that another year is arriving so quickly? With time flying by, it’s tough to take a moment to simply take it all in – so we’re just going for it and moving along full speed ahead! One of my favorite parts of a New Year? ….the up and coming beauty trends, of course! Whether it’s hair, makeup or nail treatments, beauty trends are always changing and evolving – and, 2016 is no different. Not sure what to expect? Here’s a look at some beauty trends to look forward to in 2016

Next level French manicure - Go ahead and get creative with this. New nails for a new year.

Styled pony tails  will be big in 2016. From twists to braids it’s an easy, effortless look.

Bobs and bangs ... to try !

Blue eyes only ... Yes, simple streaks of blue shadow and liner are making an appearance in a big way.

Glitter - Yes, really. An otherwise neutral face with touches of sparkling glitter….does it get any more glam than that?

How to wear LOB ´s

Hair trends come and go, but there’s one in particular this season that seems to stand out: the lob. I know, I know…what, exactly, is a lob? A “lob” is short for “long bob”- A long, shaggy layered, collarbone length cut that fits virtually every face shape, hair texture, and color. Its versatility makes it a popular choice for anyone looking to change up their ‘do. Celebs like Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez, T-Swift, and Alexa Chung have all been rocking the look this year, and for good reason. It’s put together while simultaneously seeming effortless, and brings a chic feel to any look.
The great thing about this cut is that you can go 2 to 3 days without washing your hair because it’s so convenient to style. You can transition from straight, to wavy, to half up with ease- add a little dry shampoo in there and consider yourself good to go. Here are four ways that you can style the “lob”:

 SLEEK AND STRAIGHT
Easy enough, right? Just flat iron out any wave or curl in your hair to achieve this smooth look. We chose a side part, but a middle part looks great as well…this style can easily transition from night or day with little-to-no touch ups in between.

HALF-UP HIGH PONY

This look works on Day 1 or even Day 3 hair. Take the style from #1, gather half of your hair up into a ponytail at the crown of your head, pull hair slightly from the roots to add some volume on top, and voila! For a more dramatic, night-out look, you can use more hair for the ponytail (think Ariana Grande). Add some smoothing serum on the ends if they feel dry from the day before.

Beauty Tips

When you don’t have enough time to do your makeup in the morning, you end up having to beatify yourself on your commute or when you get to your desk. It’s time to simplify your morning routine because your boss doesn’t need to see you applying mascara when you should be working on that report, trust me. Here are some of my favorite time saving beauty and makeup tips ..

Apply Everything With Your Fingers- Skip searching for the right brush to apply your foundation and use your fingers instead. Brushes are useful but when you have to spend an extra couple of seconds searching for the right one, it’s time to nix them out of your morning routine. Apply a cream eye shadow with your fingers, and dab your concealer under your eyes. Add mascara and you’re out the door.

Add Foundation To Your Favorite Moisturizer- Not only does adding a few drops of foundation into your favorite moisturizer create a dewy tinted moisturizer effect, it also save time on application. Try it!
Apply Your Deodorant Before Bed- Did you know that we’re meant to apply deodorant before going to sleep at night? It gives your skin time to let it activate. So apply your deodorant the right way so when you wake up you can skip yet another step to your morning routine.

Use “Two-In-One” Products- Try to use a lip and cheek tint, or a thin brown liner that doubles as an eyebrow brush. You can even use your lip balm through your hair to help tame flyaway hair. These products are handy for when you just need something as your running out the door.

Haartrend: Vokuhila

 Was meint Ihr ? xo

Pump up your hair

If you finding yourself struggling with lack of volume in your hair – first of all – you aren’t alone. There’s a whole world out there of ladies who have fine or thin hair and finding the volume they want (in spite of humid summer weather) is a real challenge. From curls that lose their luster to an all-around flat look, finding a way to add a little volume can feel like winning the hair styling lottery! Ready to learn a thing or two? Here’s a roundup of great tricks and tips to give flat hair a boost of volume.

Hot rollers are your best friend. One of the best solutions for providing volume to already dry hair, hot rollers often take backstage when curling irons are around. But, hot rollers are great! Throw in some hot rollers to your already dry hair and finish putting on your makeup and getting ready. When you pop the rollers out, you’ll have instant volume. What could be easier?
Teasing – or better phrased as “back brushing” can offer immediate satisfaction in the volume department. There’s no need to go wild with this one, but a small amount of back brushing on the under layers of hair can offer a great amount of lift for minimal effort. Add a quick spritz of hairspray, like thos one with volumizer from Fixx, to hold it all in place and you’re good to go.
Get to the root of the problem. Often, a boosting spray or a bit of hair spray at the roots can provide long-lasting, but subtle lift – and, enough to last all day. Try blow drying locks upside down to give your hair even more of a root lift.
Give dry shampoo a try.  Dry shampoo is the best solution for those days when you just don’t have time to wash and style your hair, but it moonlights as a volumizer. Even if your hair is totally clean, using a light spray of dry shampoo at the roots and in the under layers of hair will give you immediate satisfaction with some pretty awesome lift.
Change your part. This sounds so easy – and it is! For an instant lift and a bit of a change, switching your natural part to the opposite side will help provide an immediate lift of the locks. If you take it one step farther and go for a deep part toward one side of the crown of your head – you’re in luck – on the spot volume and a cool new look.
Do you struggle with flat hair, especially during the humid weather of summer? What tricks do you have to add a little volume?
