Favoriten Sieg für Schweden bei dem 60. Eurovision Song Contest in Wien

Måns Zelmerlöw überzeugte mit durchdesigntem Pop und animierten Strichmännchen

Obwohl es beim 60. Eurovision Song Contest in Wien im Vorfeld ein noch nie so breites Feld an möglichen Siegern gab , hat sich der sympathische  Schweden Vertreter Måns Zelmerlöw als Kandidat durchgesetzt, der bereits wochenlang auf Platz 1 bei den Wettbüros gesehen wurde. Der 28-Jährige konnte sich in der Stadthalle vor Russland und Italien an die Spitze setzen.

Für meine Landsleute Österreich , der Gruppe The Makemakes,  sowie für Deutschlands Anne Sophie  gab es hingegen eine herbe Enttäuschung - sie landeten , unverdient, mit 0 Punkten ex aequo auf den letzten Platz.

Zugleich ein großes  Lob an den  ORF , welcher in einer rund vierstündige Show , präsentiert von den drei Moderatorinnen Arabella Kiesbauer, Mirjam Weichselbraun und Alice Tumler souverän, nachhaltige Eindrücke, hinterließ. 

Im Großen und Ganzen eine mehr als gelungene Show mit dem Abschluss , dass Conchita Wurst dem neuen Sieger, Mans Zelmerlöw gratulierte .... und wir  .. . dürfen uns das kommende Jahr darauf freuen die Vertreter des  61. Eurovisionssongcontest  in Schweden zu begrüßen !

HOW TO WEAR PINK

Im a fan of pink, but not every woman likes to rock the absolute girliest side of this pretty shade. While pink has long been the color of femininity, true femininity doesn’t always have to be overtly ‘girly.’ Color itself shouldn’t dictate how dainty an item is. After all, there are plenty of mens clothes that come in this most delicate of hues. Fashion has long been known to portray pink in lace, flowers and granny knit cardigans and has very often forgotten how strong, bold and edgy it could be. SPRING HAIR INSPIRATIONS : BRAID

While finding new and fun ideas for hairstyles is one of my favorite pastimes, who can really resist a fabulous braid? In fact, I could spend hours checking out all the great  braid ideas  out there! Adding some unexpected glam and a touch of whimsy, a great braid can be dressed up or remain totally casual, while also working well with many different hair lengths. Here are a few of my favorite braid ideas that I am digging right now:

For a way to get the hair out of your face try braiding your bangs as seen on Heidi Klum in French Elle.

A little more complex, but so cool! Check out the heart braid, great for a night out or a picnic in the park.

Did you know that you are supposed to get rid of your old bras every 8 months? This may not be common knowledge and neither is the fact that most women are guilty of wearing the wrong size bra to begin with. Imagine all the discomfort! In tune of 80 percent of us are guilty of this.

Apparently the problem has now been solved. There’s a little app called  Thirdlove.  It enables women to measure their dimensions in the privacy of their own home using two iPhone selfies. I know how much we love those.

1. Pair a dark chambray button-up with white suit pants for a more relaxed look this spring. It’s perfect for the office!
2. For the weekend, pair your white blazer with shorts and sneakers for a more relaxed look. You can even add a stylish hat while you’re at it!
3. If you need a girl’s night out look, grab your favorite blazer and skinny leather pants and you’re ready to go a la Kate Moss style!
4. Don’t be afraid to mix two different suits together – especially if this involves a print suit!

People around you can sense your attitude without even talking to you – from a simple handshake to the body language you display – your tone can make or break a deal. Spreading your positive vibes and confident attitude can go a long way when it comes to giving a great impression. Check out my 3 easy tips for putting your best foot forward – simply through body language.

1.     Stand up straight. I know, I know – your mom’s been telling you this one for years. Well – she’s right! Showing off your strong self will give those around you a solid impression from the start.

2.     Shaking hands. This is a time-tested tradition goes so far back in the business world – we shake hands subconsciously when we are introduced. Keep your handshake strong and confident – showing off just how ready you are to tackle the next project or make a deal.

3.     Make eye contact. This one is huge. When you’re presenting or even just introducing yourself, be sure to make eye contact with the different people in the room. This will help you connect and show your confidence.

Sometimes I get in a rut and forget that ponytails do work for other places other than the gym! Especially since I have long hair, I’m really trying to branch out and give a more “dress up ponytail” ...
